Wuf Boarding Kennels offer a limited number of kennels to give all dogs a homely personal feel. We are located within a working farm in the small village of Asby. You can call on us whether you need a long term stay, regular arrangement or even the odd day here and there so don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We have four double and four single kennels, allowing your dogs to live together if they do so at home.

About Wuf

Wuf Boarding Kennels offer a limited number of kennels to give all dogs (however big or small) a homely personal feel. We are located within a working farm in the small village of Asby. Asby is located centrally between Workington, Cockermouth and Whitehaven.

Asby Farm is 150 acres of unspoilt beauty on the border and with pristine views over the Lake District National Park. With your persmission we can allow your dogs to have freedom to play and run in secure fields with other dogs.

We recognise that all dogs are different and some are shy. To develop trust with your dogs we can take them out on an individual basis until they feel comfortable and confident in their surroundings.

Facilities

We have four double and four single kennels, allowing your dogs to live together if they do so at home.

The kennels are heated and have fans for the warm summer days and nights.

All kennels have beds and blankets but you are very welcome to bring your dogs own bed, blankets and toys.

About Lesley

Lesley Palmer was brought up with animals from a young age. Her father taught her all he knew and as a young girl she was already breeding, schooling and racing greyhounds.

Years later, she was lucky enough to have her own foxhound for a fell pack and looked after terriers.

After starting the next chapter of her life at High Asby Farm, Lesley worked with the border collies in her daily farm rounds. She is now the proud owner of four daschunds along with her collies.

Lesley’s love and understanding of dogs shines through, she is able to look after and care for each dog as if it were her own.
