Woodvilla Kennels

Hi, we’re Mark and Sheila Leah, the very proud and committed owners of Woodvilla Kennels, where your dogs will always come first. We have been married for 25 years now and have both lived in Lancashire for most of our lives. As dog lovers, we have owned dogs jointly and separately for as long as we can remember! We are both qualified in Canine Care and behaviour to level 2 and are currently studying level 3.

I (Sheila) am a fully qualified chef, and in the past worked in various restaurants and outside catering establishments across London for 12 years. When family life became my priority, I retrained as a learning mentor and have worked for the last 18 years in education safeguarding young people & teaching Catering GCSE.

My husband Mark served in the Scots Guards and then left to pursue a career in industry, training as a large bore rubber hose builder, hand-making huge hoses for oil rigs, dredgers etc, where he most recently worked as a foreman.

Also living with us is Maisy, our 11 year old Staffordshire bull terrier. She has boundless energy and is an excellent guard dog and professional cuddler.
