Welcome to Whitehead Walkies

Hi, my name is Joan Young and I provide a personal, safe and reliable dog walking and dog caring service. I provide walks, day care and overnight/holiday care.

Dogs are my passion.  I have cared for dogs most of my life and I currently have beautiful dogs of my own. Below are pictures of some of the dogs I walk and look after.

I am aware of dogs’ health and safety issues and have successfully completed an accredited Pet First Aid Course with a veterinarian trainer. I have also successfully completed an OCN Level 3 accredited Principles of Dog Training and Behaviour Course. I am legally self-employed and fully insured (Petplan Sanctuary). Whitehead Walkies has been a successful business for six years caring for all breeds of dogs.

Services

WALKS
I provide a personal, safe and reliable dog-walking service. I am fully insured (Petplan Sanctuary). For health and safety reasons I will not walk more than 4 compatible dogs at a time.  I will always pick up after a dog and never leave a dog unattended or tied up. I will provide a text or Whatsapp check-in and check-out service. Walks are £10 per hour for one dog

DAY CARE, OVERNIGHT AND HOLIDAY STAYS
I offer a home from home daycare. overnight and holiday service where my guests live inside as part of the family.

Fees 2021/22

 

DOG WALKING
One hour walks are £10 per hour per dog which includes collecting, returning, and ensuring your dog is safe and comfortable on return. 

DAY CARE
Day Care is £15 per day per dog. Two dogs from same family is £25 per day. 

OVERNIGHT / HOLIDAY CARE

Overnight/holiday care is £20 for one dog for one night. Two dogs from same family is £30 per night.

Dogs staying overnight should be collected by 12 noon the next day. If not there will be an additional cost of £10.

I offer day care, overnight and holiday services where my guests live indoors as part of my family.
