About Us

Many amazing and wonderful pets have made their way into our hearts over the years. Currently we have two cats between us. Our cats are rescued moggies and are called Milly and Kipper, affectionately known as Mills & Noons. Miss Milly is a gorgeous grey and white, dainty, affectionate lady and Mr Kips is a beautiful black and white loving boy. You can find pictures of them in our gallery. We have also owned dogs, hamsters, pet rodents, gerbils, rabbits and goldfish. We have always had at least one furry friend in our lives and we always will.

As lifelong pet owners and passionate animal lovers ourselves, you can be assured that your beloved animals are in safe and experienced hands of pet sitters who understand just how much you love your family members.

We Love Animals will provide a dependable and caring service for all your pet sitting and dog walking requirements. The welfare and happiness of your pet is paramount to us and we pride ourselves on catering for the specific needs of each individual animal. Rest assured the wellbeing of your much loved pet(s) is our utmost priority.

Group & Solo Dog Walking

GROUP WALK

Generally, we walk a maximum of four dogs at any one time, per person. This means the dogs get to enjoy each other’s company, while we maintain full control and give them the attention they deserve. Group walks are for one hour or more (Monday to Friday, inc pick up and drop off) and are available in the morning and afternoon. Happy dogs must have a few walks per day, it is vital to their mental well-being, its good for their socialisation and of course, keeps them fit and healthy.

Understanding also that individual dogs have different needs – we are therefore more than happy to discuss and consider dogs with issues that perhaps require special consideration. We are comfortable to walk both large and small dogs.

We like keeping our walks varied, therefore we cover a lot of different walking areas. So dogs are visually stimulated by their surroundings and have new smells to explore.

We will also pick up after your dog using biodegradable bags, ensure water is available whilst walking and towel clean coats and paws before returning them home. Free treats (for good behavior and if appropriate) will also be available during the walk.

SOLO & PUPPY WALKS

Not all dogs want to be walked alongside other dogs. If your dog prefers to be walked on their own, we’ll happily take them for a thirty minute localised solo walk at an agreed time. We suggest puppies (under the age of 1 year) use this service.

Individual walks are priced per 30 minute intervals but the length of the walk can be adjusted accordingly to suit your dog(s).

Pet Home Visits

Are you going away on holiday or having to spend a few days away with work or visiting friends and relatives for the weekend? We can look after your pet in your own home while you are away.

A pet can often be unhappy when it is put into kennels, a cattery or being left on their own for any length of time. We offer comfort for pets that prefer to stay in their own home while you are away at work, visiting family for a weekend or perhaps on holiday?

A home visit can help your pet to remain comfortable and secure in their own home. Providing a daily pet sitting service with home care visits for pets at home alone, providing feeding and fresh water, poop scooping, pad changing, walkies (if required) litter changing, cleaning cages, letting the pet outside (where appropriate) plus lots of cuddles and fun!

Home visits are usually for puppies, kittens, cats & small pets. This may be suitable on a regular basis for the days when you are at work or on one-off occasions when you are out for the day or evening. We also provide home visits for caged animals and other small furry friends this can include visits when you may be away for the weekend or on holiday and do not want to board your pet.

Although this service may be suitable for moggies and smaller animals when you are on holiday, it is not recommended that dogs are left in this way (please see our house sitting service for dogs & elder pets).

Home visits last for around 15/20mins but can be extended if required or pets can be seen several times a day. If you are away from home we are more than happy to water plants, move post away from the doorway and open & close curtains during the visit all free and included in the service.

House & Live In Pet Sitting

What happens to your home when you need to be away for a time? It could be for that holiday you’ve always dreamed of and now have a chance to take, a business trip or even a sudden family emergency.

You’ll need to make sure that your home stays safe and secure. If you own a pet, it has to be taken care of, too. This is often quite a challenge.

An ideal solution is to engage the services of a house sitter. It’s a way to get 24/7 care for your property and pet. In addition to keeping your house safe and making sure it’s the way you left it (or lived in, which ever you prefer) whilst we house sit we can also take care of your other everyday tasks. This includes receiving post and packages, watering plants or just opening and closing curtains. To outsiders this makes your house look as if you’ve never left and discourages thieves on the prowl for vacant homes. Insurance firms often give preferential treatment to homes that use house sitters because it reduces claims due to burglary and accidents.

Home owners with pets find house sitters especially useful. While you’re away your pet needs extra special care and keeping the pet at home keeps it from feeling abandoned and neglected. A dog kennel or cattery will only upset the pet and expose it to unnecessary risks. A pet sitter, on the other hand, can make sure your pet continues to enjoy the comforts of home while you’re not around. This is especially true if your animal is of an elderly or infirm age. Even if you don’t have pets, we’re still happy to look after your home, whenever you’re away.

House sitters generally have the experience that comes from taking care of their own homes. They know how important a good house sitter is. This often leads to a long-lasting relationship between the homeowner and sitter, resulting in a homeowner repeatedly engaging the services of a house sitter he or she is familiar with.

If this sounds like this would be of benefit to you, please do call us to discuss further. Prices start from £55 per night.
