Walkies Wiltshire

Walkies Wiltshire is owned and run by me, Karen. I founded it in 2011, primarily because I love dogs and enjoy watching them play, run and interact with their furry friends. I take great care to mix dogs with others of similar temperament & energy levels to encourage fun & play.

I’ve always offered a personal, friendly service with very minimal paperwork and no contracts! I accept that we all live busy lives and that plans can change last-minute so I try to be as flexible as possible. 

Unlike some other Trowbridge dog walkers, I am not a franchise and know every one of my dogs and their behaviours inside out. I take time to meet owners and listen to their dog walking needs, and they know it is me who will be entering their home to collect their precious pet, rather than an employee who has never met them or their dog.

​Specialising in off lead, sociable group dog walks in local open spaces, I am fully insured and have a 100% safety record across 10 years of dog walking in Trowbridge and Hilperton.

As a mature (40 something) lady i am very practical, unflappable and experienced in caring for dogs and all their quirky behaviours! I think I’ve seen pretty much all the antics that dogs are capable of since 2011!
 
I walk in all weathers (although dry, sunny days are preferable!) and vary the locations of walks. Luckily, we’re blessed with lots of beautiful open countryside here around Trowbridge and West Wiltshire and my merry band of woofers take full advantage of it on their walks.

I’ve always tried to keep Walkies Wiltshire fun, friendly & flexible. My walks are entirely off-lead group ones. I also do puppy visits and shorter walks for pups until they’re able to walk for longer. Most of my walks are officially an hour but we’re often out for longer if we’re having fun.

I collect dogs from their owner’s homes in my ‘dogmobile’, covering Paxcroft Mead, Castlemead, West Ashton, Staverton, Hilperton & the Biss Meadows area.

All breeds and sizes of dog are welcome. Dogs must be friendly to other dogs & humans, have good off-lead recall, be happy to travel short distances in the car, neutered (or a plan to be when of correct age) and fully vaccinated.
