We help you effectively communicate with your dog and work together as a team.

We use only kind positive reinforcement methods that are based on the most up-to-date behavioural science and promote positive wellbeing, enhancing the bond and relationship between you and your dog. 

Our services include puppy classes, junior/adolescent and Intermediate level dog training classes, recall and lead workshops, UK Sniffer dogs scent detection, advanced obedience, one-to-one dog training packages and behavioural modification programmes. 

We are based in the Richmond Borough and Chiswick, covering Kew, Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton, Barnes, Sheen, Mortlake, Chiswick, Brentford and Isleworth. 

I provide the highest standards in behavioural science as a fully qualified Clinical Canine Behaviourist and advanced level trainer B.A, Fd.Sc (Hons). 

I am a member of the International Canine Behaviourists as a clinical behaviourist who sepcialises only in canines, the International Companion Animal Network (ICAN) and CAB.   

Our dog training school, Walkies and Waggietails, is Kennel Club listed status and we teach Puppy Schools, Junior/Intermediate and advanced level classes up to the highest Gold Level Standard as part of the Good Citizen Dog Scheme (KCGCDS).   

We also offer bespoke at home training packages and work together with many vets and vet referrals in the local area for behavioural modification and rehabilitation programmes. 

 

Puppy and Dog Training

Our fun, force-free approach to dog training uses kind positive reinforcement-based methods that build connection and communication between you and your dog, making training an enjoyable, fun and bonding experience for both of you. 

We use a variety of techniques to suit your dog’s learning motivations all based on the modern scientific principles of canine learning theory.

Dog Behaviour Advice

Our behavioural modification and rehabilitation programmes are bespoke to the specific problem behaviours your dog may be exhibiting.

With compassion I’ll aim to help you fully understand the psychology behind your dog’s behaviour and put together practical steps to aid a positive change that promotes wellbeing and a more relaxed and happy dog. 

I only use positive, kind methods based on the most up to date behavioural science that will help to reduce stress and build your dogs confidence and relationship with you.  

I’ll work closely with your vet and referrals for a hollistic approach and provide full behavioural reports and training plans in addition to practical training sessions together with support and advice throughout the programme.  

Behavioural issues we can help relieve:

  • Separation Anxiety (all categories)
  • Guarding and Protective Behaviours
  • Territorial Behaviours and/or alert barking
  • Inappropriate play with other dogs
  • Lead Reactivity
  • Rescue and Re-homed dogs – transitioning into the new home, re-socialising and rehabilitation as well as training
