Wagsonwalks were established in 2015 to offer a professional and reliable Home Boarding, Daycare & Dog Walking services, for the residents of Walton On The Hill, Wildwood & Baswich areas.
We are rated a 5 star service by Stafford Borough Council and are passionate and committed to making a difference to the daily lives of your pets when you can’t be there. We will provide your pets with all the love and attention they need whilst in our care.
Wagsonwalks is a family owned and run business. We are dog and pet owners ourselves and have a passion for the work that we do. We aim to surpass our customers expectations.
Wagsonwalks have the highest level of Disclosure, Nigel & Josie have been cleared to DBS (previously CRB) enhanced level. We are also trained in Emergency Pet First Aid, provided by 387 Veterinary Centre in Great Wyrley
Wags On Walks also carry comprehensive insurance including up to £5,000,000 public liability, for your piece of mind.
About Us

Wags On Walks, was formed in May 2015 by husband and wife team, Josie and Nigel to provide a professional and dedicated dog care service to the residents of Walton on The Hill, Wildwood & Baswich. We have a lifetime of experience in caring for pets that have ranged from dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, mice, goldfish, tortoise, and birds.
Our family of three boy’s have been brought up to care and love their pets. We currently have our family pet dog’s Muffin & Toffee who we adopted in 2019.

Key collection is agreed at our first consultation meeting. We ask that you provide us with two keys. To give you peace of mind your keys are kept in a key safe at Wags On Walks.
No personal information is kept with the keys, they are colour coded for our information only.
This information is kept in a separate location to ensure keys cannot be traced to your address.
We have beeen DBS checked (previously CRB) to Enhanced level, again, for your peace of mind. Our Insurance policy also includes £10,000 in any one event for loss of keys and replacement locks.

Wags On Walks offer an initial free, no obligation, consultation visit.
We are fully licenced with Stafford Borough Council with the highest 5 star rating for your piece of mind. We offer an initial free, no obligation, consultation visit. We feel it is important to introduce ourselves to both you and your dog(s) to give you confidence that they are in the best possible hands. During the visit, we can discuss your dog(s) specific needs and routines. The breed, age and temperament of your dog are all important factors that help us recommend the right service for you. We will also use this time to answer any questions you may have regarding our service and take you through our Terms and Conditions.
Why is our Dog Boarding service for you ?
This service is ideal for covering short breaks away from home either through work commitments or a night away at the theatre, weekends away, even weeks away as an alternative to commercial boarding kennels.
If your dog(s) are of a nervous disposition or are used to companionship they can become stressed, lonely, maybe destructive and howl or bark due to separation anxiety. Our boarding service provides them with a one to one interaction with our family and offers a home from home experience where we will follow a routine previously agreed with you, to help keep them free from stress and anxiety.
Your dog(s) will stay in our home, will be treated as part of the family and receive lots of love and attention. They will have access to our safe and secure garden, treats as agreed and lots of fun! We can also send you email or text updates for your peace of mind.
Please note that we only take dogs that have been neutered or spayed.
Boarding Prices
£28.00 per dog per day.
We employ a simple, flat rate pricing system regardless of your dog’s size or breed.
Please note : Length of board is calculated by the number of days ( not nights ) regardless of arrival / departure times.
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and secure your booking ( balance due on arrival ).
Please note that we have limited availability so book early to avoid disappointment.

Why is our Daycare service for you ?
This service is ideal for looking after your dog when you have to go to work or have a day out. The day starts with a 1 hour walk over Cannock Chase and then back home for companionship, treats and further stimulation through our enrichment programme & cuddles on the settee.
If your dog(s) are of a nervous disposition or are used to companionship they can become stressed, lonely, maybe destructive and howl or bark due to separation anxiety. Our daycare service provides them with a one to one interaction with our family and offers a home from home experience where we will follow a routine previously agreed with you, to help keep them free from stress and anxiety.

£22.00 per dog per day.

Dog Walking
Wags On Walks offer an initial free, no obligation, consultation visit.

During the visit, we can discuss your dog(s) specific requirements and routines. The breed, age and temperament of your dog are all important factors that help us recommend the right walks and social group. We will also use this time to answer any questions you may have regarding our service, discuss key collection and storage, for your peace of mind, and take you through our Terms and Conditions.

What happens at each visit?

Dog walking for one hour, travelling time is not deducted from your dog’s walk

Safe walks fully supervised over the beautiful Cannock Chase

Appropriate paced walks for older dog’s

Feeding as agreed, we will follow any special diet or food requirements

Administration of medications, if required

The cleaning up of any dog waste
We will ensure that your dog(s) are kept to the routine to which they are accustomed. This helps to reduce stress and anxiety, providing mental and physical stimulation, key to avoiding boredom or unwanted behaviour.
If you are away we are happy to put the bins out/in, water plants, bring the mail in, we can even get the bread and milk in for your return, just ask!

Prices
Monday – Friday
£12 per 1 hour walk
This does not include transport time, it is a full one hour walk over Cannock Chase.
