About me
Thank for visiting my website, firstly let me tell you a little bit about me.
I’d always talked about becoming a dog walker but with family and a career in the civil service, it never seemed the right time.
After spending so much time with our dog Holly during lockdown and working from home, I made the decision that if I didn’t make the change now I never would.Â
I can honestly say it’s the best career decision I have ever made. I’ve grown up with dogs, so it was almost guaranteed we would get our own family dog. We got Holly in 2011 and I have always been the one that walks her taking her out in all weathers.Â
Changing careers was a big step but I have great support from my family and they love having dogs boarding with us (especially the puppies).
Â
My aim is to provide the best service for you and your pet. I arrange a meeting prior to any walking & boarding agreements to let you get to know me and so I can meet you and your dog.
Group walks and boarding can only be with dogs that are sociable with other dogs.
Group walks
I have two walking group per day and space for four dogs. On the odd occasion there my a fifth dog if I have a dog boarding with me. Â Holly also comes along on one of my walk during the day.
I collect your dog from your home and the one hour walk starts from when we get to the location for that walk. This can be Cathkin Braes, Rouken Glen, and other local locations. My van is equipped with a water tank and towels. If at the end of the walk the dogs need dried or it’s been a but muddy. Dogs get a drink and treat (if allowed) at the end of the walks, then returned home.
Puppy and old dog visits
Between my regular walks I can provide a puppy and old dog visit service this consists of a 1/2 hour visit with a walk, play and lots of affection.
I offer a home from home service for boarding where your dog has the same routine as they would at home even down to sleeping arrangements. Treated as one of the family, I board no more that 3 dogs at anyone time along with our own dog Holly. Prior to boarding all dogs will meet at my home to let them get to know me and to see that they are sociable with other dogs.Â
Included in the 24 hour boarding is a morning and evening walk with our dog. A 1 hour walk with one of the group walks if a weekday or on a weekend a one hour walk or dog-field visit. They also have a safe secure garden to run about in.
