“Hello, my name is Ricky and I am The Pet Manny. Where possible I talk with every owner and pet that we care for and I personally oversee and monitor every single service provided.

I have over 30 years experience caring for pets and appreciate that you need someone who cares about your pet as much as you do, that’s where we come in. I have hand-picked all our carers based on their references, experience, passion for animals and their desire to give your pets top quality care and love. We are not just a pet company we are a CARE company and we will endeavour to help you with EVERYTHING you need.

Nothing is too much trouble for us when it comes to animal care so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you cannot see a service you need on our site. If you have any concerns, issues or questions I am available to talk them through with you.

I set up The Pet Manny to help take away your worry and stress when you need extra care for your pets. I ensure that all owners receive updates and adorable pictures of their little ones when in our care and we treat every animal as if they were one of our own.

Our carers will build a relationship with you and your pet and provide you with the service and care you need.  All our carers are able to access all the information about you, your household and your pets in real-time.

For every pet we care for we have a FREE CONSULTATION which we carry out over the phone or video call when needed. This is where we get to discuss requirements, behaviours and specific care needs and also talk through with you the processes for bookings and updates using our very simple Pet Management System called TIME TO PET.

Everyone gets a free consultation with the management and we walk you through how we will work with you and what you can expect being part of The Pet Manny family.  If you wish to speak to any of our carers you can do so free of charge on the phone.  If you wish for an additional consultation in person with of our carers this will be a charged visit as outlined in the full price list

At the consultation we will cover everything including our policies and procedures for the care you need and discuss exchanging keys if needed.

Naturally, there is some information we require to care for your pets.  It may seem like we ask a lot of questions but this enables us to care for them as best as we possibly can.  The more information you give us the better.  Now more than ever it is important that your information is precise and up to date to keep everyone safe.

WE WILL REGULARLY ASK YOU TO UPDATE YOUR DETAILS AS THINGS CHANGE WITHIN YOUR HOUSEHOLD.

It is advisory that you create and complete your TIME TO PET account before your consultation so we can then go through all the information with you when we chat.

Cat Care

We appreciate how stressful and worrying it can be leaving your cats at home when you go away.   We can alleviate that concern for you with one of our services.  You have the facility through TIME TO PET to give us any many instructions as required to provide the best possible care for your purry pals.

We will keep you fully updated with notes, chatter and photos of all our visits so you can see that all is well at home.

Catteries are not suitable for every cat and can cause them unnecessary stress.  As we know, most cats would much prefer their own home, toys, smells and territories.

Dog Care

1. We can offer a varied range of care for your dog.  We can also assist in enforcing training and keep you updated on behaviours, health and any other concerns.  With TIME TO PET you can keep us up to date on commands, diet, health and any concerns or simple joys.

There are 3 group dog walks Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)

APPROXIMATE TIMINGS FOR GROUP WALKS ARE AS FOLLOWS

1.   60-minute MORNING walk approx 8:30am start time
2.   60-minute LUNCHTIME walk approx 11:30am start time
3.   60-minute AFTERNOON walk approx 1:30pm start time

Any 60-minute walk requests outside these times are assumed to be solo walks and will be charged as solo walks.

Group Dog Walks (Mon-Fri)

Our standard 60 minute walks are groups of 2-4 (per carer) and we ensure our friends get plenty of attention and 1-on-1 care when out with us.

All our walking companions are friends with each other so that all our walks are fun and stress free. They can walk with a mixture of dogs and carers for great socialisation (yet we will always adhere to social distancing and local council guidelines).  We naturally take extra care with dogs when off the lead and only do so when it is safe and with your permission.

Solo Dog Walking

We understand that some dogs are not sociable with others and may have some behavioural issues.  We may also consider walking some dogs when in season.

In these instances, we can discuss solo 1-on-1 dog walks so that your pet never misses out of the exercise and love they need.

Pop-in Service

With our Pop-In Service we visit your dog at your home and spend 1-on-1 quality time with them. This could include play, enforcing training, feeding, and/or walks. We will follow your care instructions in your Time to Pet account and update you after every visit.  Whatever you need.

This service is all done in and around your home.

Live-in Service

We can house-sit at your home and care for your dog in a familiar environment.  We stick to the routine your dog is used to, this helps reduce stress and anxiety. Plus your dog will have company, affection and attention.  We usually only live-in with those dogs we already walk.

All our carers are very respectful of owners’ homes and property and ensure they clean up after themselves and the pets in their care.  You can outline detailed instructions in real-time in your Time to Pet account about your home and your pets for the carers to follow.

from £55 per 24 hour period 

Dog/Puppy Sitting Service

If you require a longer period of care for your dog on any day we can sit with them at your home for as long as you need on a personal 1-on-1 service.

This service is very popular with those owners with new puppies or dogs that suffer from separation anxiety. Or any pup that this not able to join the group walk service.

When caring for dogs in this situation we can, of course, assist in enforcing training, feeding and any form of exercise.  We will follow your instructions and care notes and always update you after every visit.

Small Animals

No matter what pet you have, we can look after them when you are away.  We have experience looking after all animals from hedgehogs to lizards and snails to turtles.  Our basic package includes feeding and general care and maintenance.

For small animals we are also happy to discuss boarding them with us.

Also ask us about a full habitat cleaning services and further discounts if you have a full menagerie

Pop-in Service

With our Pop-In Service we visit your small friends at their home and spend quality time with them. This service naturally includes feeding, play, petting, brushing, cleaning and general care based on your individual requirements as outlined in your Time to Pet account.

We endeavour to visit at the same time(s) every day so your little ones are never left alone for more than is necessary.
