Holidays are important for our physical and mental wellbeing, but it can be very difficult to leave your much loved pet behind while you’re away. This is where The Pet Joint comes in, offering fun-filled days full of love and attention, and a wonderful environment for your pet to rest, exercise and play. Deliberately kept small, you can be assured that your pet will have the most fabulous time on their holiday with us! An affordable alternative to kennels and catteries.
We cater for the individual needs of every pet. So whether you have a pooch who is fearful of other dogs, a pet with diabetes or epilepsy, or a cat with very special dietary requirements, you can rest assured that they are in the very best hands with us. What is more, many dog owners find that their stay leaves their dog much better socialised and adapted to dealing with other dogs in the big wide world!
Our award winning luxury home boarding service is 5 star rated. All guests stay as part of our family, with their own ground floor doggie bedroom complete with their own leather sofas, TV, rugs, cushions, oak floors and of course plenty of toys!
Our guests can enjoy unlimited outdoor time in our secure courtyard and play paddock, and take long strolls in our private and secure land which covers 8 acres, complete with its own woodland and stream. Guests can take in the stunning views through the Valley with the sea in one directions and the Snowdonia mountain range in the other.
Our boutique Luxury Cat Hotel isn’t like other catteries. Our bespoke suites are more “home from home” and larger than standard. Our dimmable mood lighting helps our guests to settle and relax. Plus we’ve got full size opening windows as well as cat flaps, which lead to a spacious and interactive outdoor area.
There’s plenty to keep them entertained, including indoor climbing walls, a great selection of toys, and climbing trees in the outdoor area. With so many places to climb and explore you can relax knowing your pussy cat will have a holiday they can really enjoy.
For families with more than one cat, our suites are large enough to accommodate up to four. So whether you’re away for just a night or need a longer stay, the Pet Joint is the place your Kitty should stay!

As pet owners ourselves we understand just how important it is to find someone who is equally as passionate about your pet as you are! When we started out it was a very daunting place for home boarding services. All that seemed to be available were traditional kennels and catteries.
We didn’t like the idea of leaving our little rescue dog Rosie in an environment where she would miss her home comforts after having such a bad start in life, or even worse that she may have thought she had been abandoned all over again!
That’s how The Pet Joint was born really and we’ve never looked back! Yes we are qualified to degree level in animal welfare, we are licensed by the council, fully insured and all the other usual stuff you would expect from any business but most importantly we are so passionate about what we do.
In fact we are so passionate that if you can’t tell how much we love our job when you visit then something is seriously wrong. To us caring for pets isn’t work, it’s our life, and we know we are so very, very lucky to be able to do what we do each day.
