Welcome to The Hound House

Hello there! The Hound House was originaly set up in Northenden, South Manchester and after 4 successful years we are moving to Northwich, Cheshire in July 2023!  We provide dog walking, day care, home boarding & small pet services.  We have 2 small rescue dogs from Greece to socialise your dog with, a large and secure garden and an open plan house with lots of squashy dog beds for your dog to settle in and get comfy! We’re based close to a large park and a river, making dog walks interesting, fun and diverse.

We are officially and proudly 5* licenced (No. 280687) to provide Home Boarding, Walking and Day Care facilities.  We’re fully insured, NARPS UK registered and DBS checked therefore you can be confident that we will look after your pets as if they were our own.  Sian has an OFQUAL level 3 qualification in Canine Emergency First Aid & CPR.

We will walk any size dog, however, as we are a home from home boarders and we have a child and two dogs of our own, we will only accept small to medium sized, well-behaved dogs for boarding and day care services.  These are the criteria for boarders and day care:

We offer boarding to neutered dogs

We do not board female dogs in season;

Dogs must be able to settle at night;

Frequent chewers, barkers and dogs that go to the toilet in the house will not be able to book back in;

  Please ensure than you have provided the relevant forms prior to your dogs stay. Dogs that arrive without the relevant paperwork will not be accepted.

We pride ourselves on our high standards and levels of care so the house rules above are to ensure every dog who stays here experiences the best time they possibly can in a clean, calm and friendly, family home.
