Veterinary care for your pet

We know how important your pet’s health, happiness and wellbeing are to you and your family. That’s why we devote time and attention to the small details that give them the best possible quality of life. For pets living in the west-Bristol area we provide a comprehensive healthcare package, ranging from routine health-checks, vaccinations and other preventative measures, to swift, compassionate treatment of minor ailments, through to advanced diagnosis and management of complex illnesses.

Our hospital facilities for inpatients are supported by 24-hour care provided by registered veterinary nurses and referral clinicians, so you can be sure that if your pet develops a serious condition, or requires a second opinion, they normally won’t have to be referred elsewhere.

With fifteen-minute appointment slots we have plenty of time to diagnose and treat most complaints, without you feeling hurried or having to sit around in a crowded waiting room. We also offer a range of appointment times with routine consultations available from 8.00am until 6.30pm Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings.

Vaccinations

Vaccinations and annual boosters prevent your pet contracting some potentially deadly diseases…

We recommend that all cats, dogs and rabbits have an initial vaccination course to prevent them from contracting some potentially deadly diseases. Immunity provided is not life-long however, and will need to be boosted annually.

Exactly which vaccinations are required depends on the individual animal’s age and lifestyle, which we will discuss during the consultation. If you think your pet’s vaccinations may be overdue then please call us to check.

Travel and holidays

Increasing numbers of pet owners are now enjoying taking their pet with them for holidays abroad.

Our vets have the necessary qualifications and expertise to issue animal health certificates and advise on important considerations such as parasite control in order to keep your pet healthy whilst you are away.

If you are planning to emigrate or travel outside of the EU please contact us to discuss export requirements – this is often quite complicated and we recommend contacting us at least six months before you are planning to travel.

Emergency Care

We have invested in the most advanced diagnostic equipment and post-graduate training of our experienced medical team…

Our hospital facilities for inpatients are supported by 24-hour care provided by registered veterinary nurses and referral clinicians, so you can be sure that if your pet develops a serious condition, or requires a second opinion, they normally won’t have to be referred elsewhere.
