The DC advisement re unspayed dogs
We accept any size dog into boarding and at any age. Our assessment process establishes a dog needs. We will accept ‘unspayed / unneutered’ dogs BUT it is your responsibility to inform us if your bitch is due in season. As part of our license conditions we regret to inform you that we cannot accept any bitches in season into the house. We are really sorry that if you’ve booked a stay with us and she comes into season, we have no choice but to cancel her stay or if she is in residence, we’ve been advised we must remove her from the house.Â
Unneutered males are often the cause of issues, especially urinating in the house to ‘mark’ their territory we ask for your permission to apply a dog nappy if this happens continuously.
All is discussed at the Assessment stage.Â
