About Us
We are Kel and Trilby and we started The DogParents using the knowledge and experience we have gained over years of dog care. As dog owners ourselves, our goal is to bring the highest quality of care by keeping our numbers small to build strong bonds between us, the dogs and owners. With The DogParents you can be assured that your dog is safe, happy and stimulated whilst in our care and that we’ll bring the happiness home by incorporating and reinforcing basic training in our walks.
Group Walks
We’re the fun Aunt and Uncle to your dog on their walk. Our walks are mentally and physically exhilarating.
One to One’s and Training
Whether you require assistance with basic training or your dog needs a little extra TLC, we’ve got you covered.
Daycare
At our daycare we keep our numbers small we a four dog limit so we can offer the highest quality of care.
Adventure Days
Giving your dog the chance to head to the countryside or seaside for a fun-filled, thrilling day out. This is 8+ hours of adventuring in groups of up to 6.
What We Offer
A Fresh Take On Dog Walking
The DogParents prioritise your dog’s individual needs to make sure they’re at their happiest when in our care. Be it whilst they join our long early morning walks, shorter midday walks or one to one sessions to break up their day – we appreciate each pups needs and can identify the best positive and force free methods to help them learn and grow no matter their age.Â
Basic Training On Our Walks
The DogParents offer the right type of exercise for your dog. We know mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise, so we include basic training on our walks. Our training is positive and force-free, we do not endorse any forceful methods. Our training includes but is not limited to:
– Building Attention
– Recall
– Loose lead walking
This service is free but also optional, we understand not all our owners will need the training we provide. The aim of incorporating basic training into our walks is to bring the happiness home to YOU, by encouraging good walking habits and even learning some new ones along the way.Â
A Personal Touch
The DogParents is a small family run business, run by partners Kel and Trilby. We want to extend our family values to you and your pooch and build trust with all our owners through regular face-to-face communication and contact via email, text and WhatsApp – even when we aren’t walking your dog. We always look to go above and beyond, because your happiness is our top priority.
