My name is Carole. I set up Tails of Morpeth in  2017.When  I realised that firstly there seemed to be a distinct lack of dependable pet care in the local area and secondly I didint want to work in an office ! It was time to follow my lifelong dream of working witk animals ! Since then I have cared for a large variety of animals including horses,dogs,cats,guinea pigs,rabbits and budgies ! 

All with different personalities,quirks and needs.I absolutely love what I do and have got to know and build strong bonds with many many wonderful animals.I am fortunate to own a NSDTR called ‘Lucky’ and ‘Thierry’  Proud to say we recently attended Crufts and Lucky was placed fifth in her class. So proud of her ..

Thierry was a bit bowled over by the occasion,thats him at the bottom of the page!!

Home Boarding and Daycare

Complete peace of mind as your dog will be staying in our family home with our family lots of  comfy sofas to curl up in  ….lots of outside space and lots of great walks on the doorstep…..

All new dogs are required to have a meet and greet session to asses their suitability for home boarding.

Opening hours for drop off and pickup is after 8am and 6pm.

 

 

Dog Walking

Owning two retreivers myself I understand how much energy they need to burn off.

We typically offer lunchtime hour long walks in and around Morpeth,we are really lucky to have some fabulous walks on the doorstep.

Dogs walked as a maximum in a group of 4.

 

 

Dog Grooming

Full Range of Grooming  offered including Bath and Brush,through to Breed Specific Grooms including Handstripping and Clipping.

All Grooms include earplucking eye cleaning and nails clipped as standard.

 

 

Pregnancy Scanning and Microchipping

NEW !! From 1st August we will be offering a mobile and home based pregnancy scanning service using the latest technology from Smartbreeder.Scans can be offered from 32 days since last mating,to determine if pregnancy can be confirmed.Microchipping also offered for single dogs as well as litters of puppies.Fully trained and accredited in both new service areas.

Holiday Boarding and Daycare

Holiday Boarding in our home. Drop off and pick up between 8 am and 6 pm. £25 per dog per 24 hours.

Bank holidays charged at double time.

Daycare available between 8am and 6pm £20 per dog.

 

 

Dog Walking

Group Walks in and around Morpeth £12 per dog per hour. Available Monday to Friday

 

 

Dog Grooming

Full Grooms available from £30 dependant on breed and requirement.

Handstripping from £35 dependant on breed and requirement . Nail clipping £5 per dog. Please message for further info.

 

 

Pregnancy Scanning and Microchipping

Pregnancy Scanning both mobile and home based from £30 per scan.

Microchipping available from £8 per dog.

Our Opening Hours

Our opening hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday for doggy daycare. Outside of these hours visits are by appointment only.
