Hello, I’m Toni Coad and I am Tails and Trails. I am an experienced dog owner with two very spoilt doggies of my own, a Cockapoo and Cocker Spaniel. I have been passionate about dogs since I was a little girl and was lucky enough to grow up with them.
If it wasn’t dogs, it was horses, that gave me my love for the outdoors and after completing my degree in Interior Architecture & Design, I knew that a life in an office just wasn’t for me, hence Tails and Trails was born.
Every dog is as important to me as my own, so you are in the best possible hands! I enjoy finding out about each dog and their unique character, ensuring that I can do my best by them. I offer an unrivalled range of doggy services at Tails and Trails, so whether you choose me for regular dog walking, day care, or boarding, I can assure you that your cuddly family member will be in loving and responsible hands, which means peace of mind for you and they will always return home healthy and happy.
Dog walks are offered in a variety of walk locations and the groups are subject to prior introductions to other dogs on the walk. I like to be as flexible as possible as I know plans and commitments can change on a daily basis. I therefore, offer flexible dog walking packages and services that are tailormade for you. During the walks, I attach a Tails and Trails tag alongside a dog’s own tag.

Here at Tails and Trails we pride ourselves on the high quality care we offer. We believe we are more than just dog walkers or dog carers we strive to be your dogs best friend, to build a relationship based on connection and co-operation. A happy dog means a happy family and to make sure this is achieved we work with you, your dog, your trainer even your vet to support you and your beloved 4 legged friend in their doggy journey. We use modern science based training methods and aim to be force free and use rewards/reinforcements to help dogs make the right choices. The canine industry continues to evolve when it comes to explaining our dogs behaviour and so year after year we work with some of the UK’s best behavioural companies, taking part in online seminars, educational courses and other CPD to continue to build on our own knowledge base. This also means you can trust us to make the correct decisions in certain situations that could otherwise be adverse to your dogs future. All our walks, adventures, and day care groups are arranged to make sure every dog gets the most out of the service you can afford. We wont ever push a dog to stay in a certain group because its easy and we will never continue to take your dog if we feel they are not happy.
