Welcome to Swift Dog Training!
A fully insured, council approved, purpose built training facility to fulfill all your and your dogs’ training needs. Based on the borders of Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, we are ideally located for the surrounding areas such as Leamington Spa, Stratford on Avon and Banbury.
Whether you are looking to try something new with your dog, correct a specific behavioural problem or just simply have fun with your canine companion, we have something for everyone.
We offer a variety of training and fun sessions for you and your dog, or if required can tailor something more specific – including residential training.

Agility is one of the fastest growing, most active and interactive sports you can currently take up with you canine friend. It combines a wonderful combination of obedience, precision training, speed and agility.
Whether you decide you want to perfect you and your dogs agility skills, help yourself and your dog to stay in shape, or simply help build the bond with your dog and have some fun, agility can be a great way to do this.
Please be aware Oct – Feb we do not run classes due to the unpredictable weather making it unsafe to train outside.
BASIC TRAINING LEVEL ONE
This is for all breeds over the age of 8 months who are coming along nicely with their basic obedience and are looking to introduce a fun new activity into their training. Only certain elements of the agility equipment will be used due to the dogs being under 12 months (no jumps), however the majority of the equipment will be used and it is a great way to practice the dogs new obedience skills.
BASIC AGILITY TRAINING LEVEL TWO
This is for most breeds that are over the age of 12 months and in good physical conditions (dogs with pre-existing conditions or old injuries may not be suitable). In these sessions you will learn as the handler how to teach your dog to complete each obstacle one by one. By the end of the 8 sessions you will be able to link each element in a simple course (known as sequencing).
AGILITY HIRE & PRACTICE SESSION
Once you have completed one of the above courses or been competing at grade 2 level or better (this is a pre-requisite) you can hire the arena and equipment for training purposes. Please note you are ENTIRELY responsible for the safety and proper use of the agility equipment with you & your dogs. Please call for availability (only day hire available during the winter months as no lighting).
We are a proud stockist of the fantastic brand of raw complete dog food VOM. We feed all of our dogs on this whether they are are a 8 week old puppy or 14 year old geriatric. This fantastic quality raw complete keeps them in fantastic condition year round, whether they are competing, working or pets.
All of our puppies are weaned from their mothers straight on to the raw food. It is made from top grade quality ingredients and is 100% biologically appropriate for dogs.
If your dog has skin problems, loose or frequent/large stools, bad habits such as eating faeces, is a picky eater please get in touch.

INTRO TO GUN DOG TRAINING
This is for all breeds of dog that have good basic obedience already (will heel on a lead, sit and stay off lead and enjoy carrying a toy/ball/dummy AND/OR enjoy hunting). If you are looking to find out more about what it takes to train a gun dog, what is involved and how the training can be a fun activity for you and your dog then this is perfect for you. Or if you wish to take your dog out on a shoot for the first time and not wish to embarrass yourself; again, this can be the perfect introduction.

INTERMEDIATE GUN DOG TRAINING
In order to complete this course, you must have successfully completed the introductory course. Please see the course specification for more informations on the requirements needed.
This will give you chance to advance your skills learnt on the previous session, introduce whistle training, begin distance work and perfect more complex retrieves.
