I am a mature (50 something! ) friendly, competent and reliable person, who has had years of experience working with various animals such as cats, dogs, alpacas, geese, horses, cows, sheep, pigs and chickens – being a farmer’s daughter from near Barnard Castle.
I’ve also worked with various wildlife whilst on my placement year at RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre and Rehoming Cattery (near Nantwich) during 2009 – 2010.
I have the following qualifications :-
‘BSc (Hons) Animal Health and Welfare Management’ in 2012 (Harper Adams University, Shropshire).
‘National Diploma in Agriculture’ in 2006 (East Durham & Houghall College).
I gained a ‘Canine First Aid and CPR’ certificate (January, 2018) after completing a practical based workshop in Whorlton (nr Barnard Castle), run by Rachael Bean – a qualified Veterinary Nurse and Canine Behaviourist.
