Superpaws is a family run, home based pet service that offers Day & Night Pet Boarding, Dog Walking, Home Visits, and even a Pet Taxi Service. They are based in Merthyr Tydfil just a stones throw from some amazing countryside and walking routes. Their home boarding is a personal and friendly service run from their family home. Superpaws only accepts bookings for a small amount of pets at any one time so they can give your loved ones the care and attention they deserve, offering a a unique treatment that you won’t find with other dog boarding services and kennels and for a highly competitive price!

“Hi my name is Mike and both myself and my wife Hayley know from our own experience the worry and anxiety it causes both yourselves and your beloved pets whilst you are separated.

So after a successful career working in the construction sales industry for the past 16 years. I recently decided to give all that up and dedicate all my time and effort to my real passion which is caring for our four legged friends.

I am fully insured, local authority licensed, crb checked and a registered kennel club breeder.

I am also currently studying for a diploma in pet care which incorporates animal behaviour, exercise, first aid etc

Having had dogs and animals all our lives we understand how much your pets mean to you and would treat them like our own as part of our family.

We have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels called Bella and Bonnie and two dog loving cats called Chilli and Pepper.

We also have three animal loving children living at home with our youngest being Livvy an enthusiastic 10 year old who along with the rest of us would smother your pets with cwtches.

So if you are like us and worry about leaving them when your away or are struggling to find time to give them the exercise they need then get in touch.

’m Livvy and I’m a part of superpaws. I’m passionate about helping my parents with all the lovely dogs that we take care of.

There is no dog to big or too small for us to take care of, all dogs are perfect. I’m ten years old but still want to take care of all the dogs. I’d love to have my own business of caring for dogs. I love puppies and older dogs I have two dogs Bonnie and Bella.

Bella was a mam to five puppies and she is four years old. Bonnie is Bellas daughter, Bonnie is nine months old but is a really good friend and is really fun. I am learning how much to feed them and I am learning their daily routine so I can help out. I am trying to find a new way to try and stop Bella barking too much and it seems to be working. Bonnie is a quiet little dog a bit scared of little things but she loves our two wonderful cat’s chilli and pepper.

Home Boarding is a holiday for your dog whilst you are away…basically your loved one will stay in our home with us and be cared for as part of our family.

He/She will enjoy all the comforts they would normally receive at home and although the environment will be a little different there will be lots of familiar surroundings that your dog will be used to like a kitchen with all the great food smells, a safe secure garden where they can go out and sniff around and most importantly a comfy lounge where they can relax and spend a cozy evening dozing.

We believe that your dogs deserve as much love and attention as they would get from yourselves therefore we will only board a maximum of three dogs at any one time. This way we can offer lots of one to one playtime and also group interaction if your loved one desires.

Directly behind our home we have some of the best countryside in Merthyr Tydfil where your dog can run and play in safety and enjoy a wonderful experience on a mountain walk whether it’s a six mile hike or a leisurely stroll in beautiful surroundings.
