We operate a well established boarding kennel and cattery facility which has been running for over 30 years. We cater for dogs, cats and small animals such as Rabbits, Ferrets and Birds. We even offer a day care facility to look after your pet for the day if you are at work or just out for the day.
Collection and Delivery Service
To assist if you don’t have your own transport, or if you simply don’t have the time, we offer a collection and delivery service where we can collect and/or return your pet; however, please ensure that you pre-book this service either by clicking the link below to the Boarding Booking form or when booking your pet in over the telephone.

Training
Gundog, Obedience and Behavioural Training
At Sunnyview Kennels various forms of training takes place from basic obedience and behavioural training to full gundog training.
Gundog Training
- Gundog training to shooting, picking up or field trialing standard whichever is required.
- Individual one-to-one lessons which will assist you in learning along with your dog.
- Group lessons available throughout the year (use the Contact Us option to register your interest and receive available dates).
- Monthly residential training for your dog from approximately 9 months old
Obedience & Behavioural Training
- Can take place at the kennels or at your home.
- Ranges from basic puppy advice to problems with an aggressive or frightened dog.
Breeding, Whelping, Sales and Stud Dogs
Labdom Retrievers was registered with The Kennel Club in 2005. Labdom is the prefix and affix which is the name Wayne and Lynn Mitchell have for all the dogs that they breed and own.
Wayne and Lynn have dogs whose name is preceded by Labdom, which denotes dogs they have bred. They also have dogs whose name ends with Labdom, which denotes dogs they have purchased into their Labdom kennel. Although these are the Kennel Club names which the dogs are given at birth, the dogs are also known by their pet names.
We carry out dog breeding with our black and yellow Labradors on an on-going basis.
Whelping
We also have whelping facilities where we can whelp your bitch for you until the puppies are ready to come home to you relieving you of the time, worry and effort required to produce a healthy litter of puppies.
Dog Sales
We often have partially or fully trained Labrador Retriever dogs for sale. Please contact us for further information.
Grooming and Pet Accessories
We have a fully equipped grooming parlour providing the pampering our guests require and deserve. We can provide a full groom, we can bath and brush your pet if he/she does not require clipping or we can simply do a tidy up.
