Summer Hill is situated in a beautiful, quiet countryside location just minutes from Nantwich & Crewe, we are easily accessible from all major routes in the area.

Summer Hill offers quality boarding for dogs and cats, plus doggy daycare during our normal opening hours. We have a professional dog grooming studio to keep your canine pals looking at their best, which offers everything from a quick bath to a full show-quality cut and blow-dry.

Summer Hill Pet Hotel & Spa is run by a dedicated team of animal lovers, so you can rely on us to take the utmost care of your pets while you are away.

Set in several acres of gardens and exercise paddocks, our purpose built kennels and cattery are first rate. Safety and cleanliness are paramount and we pride ourselves on making your pet’s stay as much like a holiday as possible.

Both the kennels and cattery are purpose built to a high specification. Both are spacious and well maintained, providing a comfortable and safe place for your pets to stay. The cattery is situated away from the kennels.

Please read on for more details and feel free to visit us anytime during our opening hours for a tour; no appointment necessary! Please note, we close at 5 pm so the last time for a look around is 4.30 pm Monday to Saturday and 11.30am Sundays. We may not be open to the public on bank holidays.

DOG ACCOMMODATION

Our dog accommodation has spacious sleeping quarters and private covered outside play areas. Thermostatically controlled warm air heating keeps things cosy in winter and cools in summer, so you know your dog(s) are always comfortable.

For larger dogs or families, we have a double-sized kennel which is suitable for up to four large dogs or lots of smaller dogs! This costs just £5 extra per day over the standard rates and gives your pets a lot of extra space to run around, plus there are two separate sleeping areas if desired.

We pride ourselves on cleanliness here at Summer Hill. In between guests, all units are scrubbed inside and out with a high-level virucide disinfectant cleaner. On a daily basis, all accommodation and runs are kept spotless with a thorough anti-bacterial cleaning regime so you can be assured that ‘doggy’ smell won’t be present.

We exercise your dog(s) in our spacious grounds so they can stretch their legs. We also have enclosed exercise runs where dogs are allowed off lead to play ball and have a good sniff about.

Safety is paramount and we never mix dogs from different families, so you don’t have to worry about them meeting an unfriendly dog face to face.

MEDICATION & SUITABILITY OF KENNELS FOR INFIRM DOGS.

If your dog is currently on medication we are happy to administer this at no extra charge. Please mention this when booking as we sometimes cannot cater for certain treatments.

Please also be aware that sometimes a kennel environment may not be suitable for some timid, infirm or immobile pets. While we always do our utmost to make your pets stay comfortable and rewarding, we reserve the right to refuse accommodation to a pet if we feel that we cannot provide a suitable environment while they are in our care. If you feel this may be an issue, please mention it when booking so we can discuss options with you.

FEEDING.

We feed a hypoallergenic dry food which is suitable for dogs with sensitive digestions. If you would prefer to maintain your pets home diet, please bring this along with you when you check in.
