Sniffer Paws NI – Mantrailing and Scentwork

Laura owns and runs both Walkies Dog Walking & Sniffer Paws NI providing professional pet care & dog training since 2013. 

Laura holds numerous qualifications including being a Certified Mantrailing Global Instructor, Scentwork UK Trainer, Trial Manager and Judge & Separation Anxiety Pro Trainer. She has also completed a number of additional courses: Scent for Six, Business in a Box, Behaviour Bible & Puppy Lab all from The School of Canine Science. She has also studied with IMDT and completed the Interactive Play Instructor Course with Craig Ogilvie.  

Using reward based, scientifically researched techniques for training means you and your dog have the best time together, whilst also learning and strengthening your bond. Laura also holds a bachelor degree in Animal Science from the University of Nottingham.

Starting Walkies in 2013 has lead to years of experience with reactive and fearful dogs plus dogs with training problems in recall, lead walking and focus. Knowing what makes them tick and providing solutions to problematic behaviours has become a big part of Laura’s everyday work now.

Tilly is Laura’s 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier. She regularly trails, trains and competes in Scentwork and Agility as well as Hoopers and Tricks.  Hera is 2 years old and a Parson Russell Terrier.  They qualified for Crufts 2022 were she came 3rd in her class! Hera (also known as Munchie) has started foundations in Agility, Hoopers and Scentwork and is proving to be a brilliant little trailing dog.
