About Me
My name is Sarah and I am the proud owner of Simply Grooming in Old Cwmbran..
I have always had a life-long passion for animals & in particular love of dogs, and after having dogs in my life forever. I decided after many years behind a desk to fulfil my lifetime dream.
With the encouragement and support from my family especially my partner, I done my training and opened in November 2017.
We have three dogs in our family Alfie, Millie and Wilma and all are different sizes and breeds.
Alfie is a mixed breed – shorkie (shihtzu/yorshire terrier), Millie is a Imperial Shihtzu and Wilma is a Old English Sheepdog…
What’s been Happening
We celebrated our first year of opening on the 14th of November 2018 with a Open Tea Party from 10am to 6pm where everyone could call in when it suited them to have a refreshment , a choice of cupcakes donated and made by one of my lovely customers Margo and a taster for your dogs of biscuits made by the Well Good Dog Co..
The last two years since covid …. a difficult time for all, there have been a few changes, we have been running a 1-2-1 appointment service this has worked better, spaces are limited …… with the increase of dog owners.
November 2022 will be our 5th anniversary at the salon…… As we are struggling with the economic situation at present, I will be forever
grateful of the ongoing support of my small business.
About Simply Grooming
At Simply Grooming we cater for all breeds of dogs ……. our aim is to give your pooches a good experience being groomed, I groom
1-2-1 by appointment only, they can wander around the salon and
go out the back garden during the groom when they want which is safe and secure.
We always give a complimentary bandana, after being groomed…. All made by small businesses….
We celebrate the occasions, Christmas, Valentines, Easter and even Halloween with matching Bandanas, Flowers and bows…. these are some from Valentines and some of your pooches wearing them.
Christmas is a busy time of the year, so we ask all to pre-book in your appointments to guarantee your pooches Christmas grooms
