Here at Quintessential Quarters, we strive to provide only the best for each feline that that visits our cattery, and diet is no exception. Our cattery diets of either Royal Canin or Arden Grange provide nutritionally complete dry foods that are formulated to a very high standard. Both Royal Canin and Arden Grange have impressive credentials in the pet food industry and are used by many professionals.

The cattery provides a choice of menu including: Royal Canin Exigent Arromatic Attraction Arden Grange adult cat with fresh chicken and rice, kitten with chicken and rice, adult cat light with chicken and rice, and adult cat with fresh salmon and rice. Please visit the Royal Canin & Arden Grange websites for more details about the different types of food available.

In addition, we provide a large selection of top brands of tinned cat food to tempt even the fussiest of eaters. Please make us aware of any special dietary requirements for your cat. We can accommodate cats on a special veterinary diet too.

We understand that a number of our clients may wish to use their regular diet. We are happy to continue with this, however, no discounts are offered and the food must be provided.

Free puppy consultations

Even the dogs who run a mile if you mentioned the word “bath” will be coaxed into submission and will feel so much better for a good bath. Regular bathing and grooming can be so beneficial for many reasons and the younger your dog is when you start the better for everyone. That’s why we provide free puppy consultations in the grooming room too.

Your pet deserves the best care and attention and a lifetime of happy grooming. To a certain extent, this will depend upon a pleasurable first experience in a grooming salon. We want your pet to feel safe, comfortable and relaxed at Quintessential Cuts. That’s why we offer a FREE Consultation and Puppy Introduction to Grooming for your new puppy. This also extends to new customers with any breed at any age, particularly nervous dogs. We always prefer to arrange a free consultation prior to your pet’s first grooming appointment for this reason and to assess condition, health and temperament as well as a price guide.

Your pet’s introduction to grooming will involve gentle handling, an informal sniffing around, standing in the bath without water, discovering the hydraulic grooming table, hearing the dryer and depending on the breed, sitting in the drying cabinet without it turned on. We will also provide treats, lots of attention, positive reassurance and praise to help associate future grooming with a pleasant experience. We will have the opportunity to talk about the requirements for your breed and your expectations. Then on the next visit, your pet will feel much more at ease and ready for a good pampering and you’ll feel better too having met us knowing your pet in caring and competent hands.

Once your puppy has had all the required inoculations and is ready to face the outside world, they are ready for a gentle introduction to grooming. Usually around 12 weeks of age – an early start is particularly important for breeds which require regular clipping and scissoring. The same is true for nail clipping. All pets benefit from being handled correctly from the start. You’ll have an easier life at the groomers and at the vet and your dog will enjoy a more relaxed, stress-free life!

Our FREE introduction to Grooming allows for a 30-minute appointment.

This Introduction/Consultation does not include any grooming.

We are passionate in what we do. Whether it’s a happy go lucky family friend, a rescue animal that hasn’t had the best start in life, a pet that needs medical attention or simply helping a client there’s nothing else we’d rather be doing than caring for your four legged friend.

Knowing what you’re doing. We are highly skilled and take animal care seriously, we are forward thinking and accept constructive feedback.

Attention to detail is very important to us, quite simply we don’t cut corners. When you visit us you will see dogs being walked and played with and staying in accommodation which is always immaculately clean.

Educated and caring. Being educated isn’t necessary to be in the boarding kennels industry but it certainly helps.

Keeping up with the times. We welcome and accept change and believe in developing the team so that we remain one of Staffordshire’s leading animal boarding facilities.

Respect to the clients. We believe that we should always treat our clients as we would like to be treated ourselves – we would also like this to be reciprocated.

Codes of Conduct. Being lateral in thought is important but this must be ethical and strictly within the Law. We do not take part in unethical business practices.

Results. It is our aim to please all of our clients so with Quintessential Quarters expect good service.
