Putts Pet Care

Hi, my name is Charlie. From a young age, I have always been an animal lover. We have always had pets in the family home and I have always loved taking care of them and those pets of extended family.

After I finished school, I decided I wanted to work with animals in some capacity or another, so I completed a 2-year College course in Animal Management and Behaviour. Unfortunately, I found it much more difficult than I imagined to get into a Zoo or similar work to fulfil my ambitions. So, I decided to study for a University Degree in; Applied Animal Behaviour & Welfare.

With this completed I was still finding the right sort of employment difficult to find, so I decided to start my own business and make it happen for myself, and that’s how Putts Pet Care was created.

As a family, when I was younger, we had fish, rabbits, tortoises and a lovely Chocolate Labrador, who was with us for nearly 15 years. We now have a Cocker Spaniel keeping me busy with wild adventures!

I also have some more exotic pets of my own! I used to own a corn snake and currently have a Royal Python, scorpions, tarantulas and until recently had bearded dragon as sadly old age got the better her.

I love all animals; dogs are a real passion as I have grown up being around them. You can be assured your pet will be looked after and treated as if they were my own, for me it’s animals first, clients closely behind!
