About Us

Choosing someone to look after your pets when you are not there can be a difficult decision to make. Rest assured, I guarantee that your pets are in the safest hands possible.

I am happy to come to visit you and your pets at home for a free, no-obligation initial visit to discuss any questions you may have. I want to make sure that you’re 100% happy before you book with me.

I have owned dogs, cats and rabbits since I was a child and also enjoy horse-riding. I recently took early retirement from my job as a school librarian and I have worked in local schools for over 30 years.

I decided to look after other peoples’ pets because I have had pet-sitters in the past and I have been disappointed by the service that some companies give i.e. litter trays not kept fastidiously clean, cat litter spread around and little accidents not cleaned up sufficiently etc. I also found that the better catteries were quite often full if you needed to get away at short notice.

I set up my business to cater for people who need a service where their pets (and their home) get my undivided attention. This is achieved by looking after a maximum of 2 pets at any one time.

If you prefer I can update you by text or email throughout the sit so that you can enjoy your holiday safe in the knowledge that your pets are being well looked after in their own secure environment.

I am fully insured and hold a current enhanced DBS certificate (Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks are now called Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks). I have excellent references and love animals of all types.
