Puppy Tales

Nicole has been running Puppy School classes since 2009 and is an accomplished tutor. She teaches our Behaviour Courses and Assessment Preparation Workshops that we offer to our tutors.

Nicole has a BA (Hons) in Animal Behaviour Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from the University of Southampton. She is an Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist and Animal Training Instructor and is a member of several organisations within the animal behaviour and training industry including;

– Full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). Nicole sits on the committee as Company Secretary and a member of the Assessment team.
– Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist with the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB)
– Certificated member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians (FABC)
– Member of the Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT)
– Member no.01043 of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and formerly a member of the assessment team

Nicole previously worked for a large UK rescue welfare charity. However, she saw dogs being brought into the Home on a daily basis that were poorly socialised and lacked basic manners. Many of their issues would have been prevented with appropriate socialisation and training at an early age. Nicole’s aim as a Puppy School tutor is to encourage responsible puppy ownership and provide support and guidance to owners during the initial, sometimes very challenging, puppy phase.

Nicole lives on the border of Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire with her husband and their Golden Retriever.
