Since a child, I’ve spent my life in the company of various animals – dogs, ponies, horses, donkeys, an endless line of hamsters, cats, rabbits and tortoises – I couldn’t imagine a life without them. Currently, I share my life with two Affenpinscher dogs – scruffy black creatures that date back to the 1400s and who were originally bred as mousers. These two are useless at that, but they are quite good in the show ring and we’ve won a few ribbons at championship shows, including Crufts, over the last 6 years.
My day job is teaching English at a London secondary school, but my main love is working with dogs. Puppy School is the most amazing positive start you can give your puppy in this hectic and often confusing world. I feel so proud to be a Puppy School trainer. I love the force-free, reward based approach, that been scientifically proven to really work. I’m also a trainee for Tellington T Touch alternative therapy for animals, which I have been learning part time in Bath.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and your new puppy – let’s do some lovely positive work together!
