Puppy School Durham

Be the first to review

I live in Cassop, County Durham with my husband, 2 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats and some ducks and hens.
It had been my dream, since being a young child to work with animals. So in 1996, I moved to the North East from Scotland to train as a veterinary nurse in a Gateshead veterinary practice. I qualified in 2000 and continued to work in the same practice until 2012.
I now work as a locum veterinary nurse in a several practices across the North East and 2 days a week at Stray Aid dog rescue in Coxhoe, County Durham.
Working in rescue has shown me how important a puppy’s start in life is. Too many lovely dogs find themselves in rescue due to lack of correct socialisation and training.
It has now become my passion to help owners understand how their new puppies, think and learn. Helping them to become happy, well mannered, sociable dogs that anyone would want as part of their family.
Puppy school classes, due to the reward based training used, are fun, informative and suitable for the whole family.
If you are interested in coming to classes or would like any more information, please give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to meeting you and your new puppy soon.
