Hello, I’m Lynette

Lynette Irwin is an experienced dog handler with over 30 years of experience across many breeds. Lynette’s passion started when she was just 17 when she first owned her own dog – a Labrador. After training for obedience and many successful shows, 4 years later, Lynette was then introduced to gundog training with the United Retriever Club at Windsor Great Park. Lynette soon became award winning in her field and a renowned specialist in her many fields of expertise.

Lynette grooms all breeds from Yorkshire Terriers to Retrievers and specialises in the grooming of gundogs and the technique of hand stripping.

HAND STRIPPING

Posh Dogs specialise in the natural grooming method of removing the dead hair to retain correct colour and texture. Border; Norfolk; Cairn and other Terriers plus the Gundog breeds

PUPPY TRAINING

Lynette Irwin is a qualified dog trainer with years of experience to offer your dog professional training. Basic obedience, puppy recall and other problems, socialisation and clicker training – Posh Dogs can help.

BREEDING

Bumblyn Flatcoated Retrievers owned by Lynette Irwin are happy to train and work. They have also given Lynette plenty of success in shows, with firsts at Crufts and a Reserve Challenge Certificate. Also Field trials gaining a 3rd in Open Breed stake and COM in A.V Novice
