Are you looking for an alternative to kennels for your dog? Then home boarding is your answer. At Pets-care we offer home from home boarding and dog day care services. We also offer dog walking services where we come to your house and walk your dog from there. We can also do puppy or elderly dog visits if required.
Steps to take if you decide to board your dog with me:
– Arrange a visit to my house with your dog {s}. The dog can than meet my own dogs and see the house and garden. For day-care dogs this should be sufficient to see if they fit in with my dogs .and others.
-Book a trial night. you must be available to collect the dog if it does not go well. If this overnight stay is successful {I will let you know}, book your stay. First come, first served.
If you want us to walk your dog, we will come to your house for a ‘meet and greet’ session, so that we can meet the dog, see the house and surrounding area and learn about it’s habits.
We are a member of the Association of Dog Boarders.

Boarding…£20.00 per night. You can drop of from 4 pm and need to pick up by 11 am.
Earlier drop off or later pick up will have a £5.00 surcharge either day.
For example from Saturday 10 am till Sunday 5 pm for 1 dog would be £30.00. Second dog £12.00 extra per night. No boarding will take place without a ‘meet and greet’ and a trial night.
A maximum of 2 dogs from the same family can be boarded with me. They have to be social and get on well with other dogs.
(Bitches should not be in season and male dogs should be neutered)
For boarding, evidence needs to be shown that the dog has up to date vaccinations and recent flea and worm treatment. I reserve the right to administer flea treatment at the owners cost. You will be asked to fill in an information form with details of your dog, vet, vaccination date etc. Your dog also needs to be micro-chipped and has to have an identity disc on the collar although I put a disc on with my own details just in case your dog gets lost.
Day care or occasional day-care:
Half day care :: £10 for 1 dog, £16.00 for two dogs for up to 6 hours between 8 am and 8 pm.
Full day care: £20.00 for 1 dog, £32.00 for two dogs for up to 12 hours between 8 am and 8pm.
Pick up and/or drop off for boarding or day-care within 5 miles £5.00 per ride ( a trial visit is still required).
Dog walking or puppy/elderly dog visits:; £10.00 per hour (for up to 2 dogs only)
Comprehensive insurance covers all of the above services
I hold an animal boarding licence ( nr 19/00058/COMM) from South Ayrshire Council.
Cancellation policy: cancel as soon as possible so that someone else can take the space.
Payment; bank transfer or via Paypal (upfront).
All my life I have been a pet lover. After I finished college I trained and qualified as a veterinary nurse. After that I became a dog groomer and managed my own grooming salon for 2 years. Later I became a volunteer for the Labrador Lifeline Trust in Hampshire and I volunteered for Labradors in Need. In September 2019 I trained and passed for the Pets Bereavement Support Service with the Blue Cross to be able to volunteer for them. Recently I did the pet first aid course again. I have currently 2 black Labradors and a chocolate Labrador who loves to play with any other dog. I live in a bungalow with a large garden.
