Pet Universe was established in 2005 by Svetlana Broussova and it is now widely regarded as one of the most professional and caring Cat & Dog Grooming Salons in East London and Essex.

Svetlana’s sensitivity, knowledge and awareness of her profession is the result of many dedicated years of training and experience, accompanied by an in-depth understanding of animal behaviour and the specialised requirements of different breeds.

For more than 20 years, Svetlana’s dedicated enthusiasm has helped create a foundation of excellent professional cat and dog grooming techniques. She specialises in cat grooming and has established an international Cat Grooming School, where she passes on her knowledge and expertise for the benefit of future generations of groomers at home and abroad.

At the Salon, Svetlana and her team take pride in the high standard of service they are able to offer their clients. It is of the utmost importance to the team that your pet is happy and relaxed. Therefore, on your visit, you can expect to find a highly efficient, safe and relaxed atmosphere to which you can entrust your pet. We are specialising in Cat Grooming and offering only the best we have to offer to our feline friends and their owners.

Our professional Cat Groomers’ Team have an extensive knowledge of many breeds, handling techniques and knows the secrets of dealing with older cats and more difficult cats. We work with a variety of coat types either, long, medium or short haired cats, to groom them into the best style suited to the individual. This means offering grooming from regular brush outs, to dealing with badly matted cats and how to deal with the coat in this state.

We are offering a variety of Cat Grooming Services at our modern salon, using only top quality Cat Grooming Products from the J.P. Mitchell pet range, to cater for all of your cat’s needs and to meet your expectations.

• 2 Warm baths with the top quality shampoo;
• Hand blow dry with brushing and conditioning the Dog’s coat;
• Flea bath and medicated shampoo;
• Ears and Eyes Cleaning;
• Nail Clipping, including small breeds;
• Trimming to customer request or Breed Standard Styles;
• Perfume for girls/Cologne for boys

• Tooth brushing: £50;
• Spa aromatherapy massages: £50;
• Spa warm soapy salt baths: £50;
• Coat colouring: £25 per colour tube + £100 for colouring;
• Nails polishing: £50

For walk in customers – Paws clipping only!

• Small Dogs – £15;
• Medium Dogs – £15;
• Large Dogs – £20;

It was founded by Svetlana Broussova, who was born in Russia where she qualified as a veterinary surgeon. She came to this country in 1999.

Pet Universe provides professional pet grooming services, delivered by a friendly, dedicated and experienced team. We welcome all cat and dog breeds, with any needs.

We can provide different types of grooming services from regular brushing out to working with badly matted coats; bathing with top quality shampoos such as J Paul Mitchell; hand blow drying with coat conditioners and styling to the breed standard or your requirements. Nail clipping, hair removal from ears and expressing anal glands are all part of our grooming session and free of charge.

Additional services available on request are: salt baths, hair dying (colour restoration), Pawdicures (doggy manicures with nail colour), teeth cleaning, aromatherapy massages and much more. Pet grooming is a passion for us and we promise to treat your pet with love and respect at all times.

We believe that every pet deserves the best, which is why we have created a team of groomers that understand the care required for all types of cats and dogs.

Every member of staff is a dog/cat owner and most importantly an animal lover. We only use and recommend high quality products.

We have separate state of the art grooming rooms at our salon for cats and dogs. Our salon and grooming rooms are cleaned to the highest standard.
We disinfect all equipment after every appointment ensuring everything is clean and hygienic for your pet’s grooming session.
