Pet my Pet

Welcome!

Whether you are on holiday, away on business or just need general day-to-day assistance feeding, watering and caring for your furry friends, I’m here to help. My service is suitable for cats and small animals and includes feeding, changing water, cleaning litter trays and more.

Caring

When you’re away, pets prefer to stay at home rather than visit a boarding kennel or cattery. The unfamiliar environment and close proximity to other animals is uncomfortable at best and causes anxiety and stress for most. With a carer visiting them in their home environment, your pet will be much more relaxed and less stressed.

Secure

In addition to having me care for your pets, you will be safe in the knowledge that your house is being visited regularly.  I will on request, also take your post in, open / close curtains and collect your bins in order to give your house the appearance of being occupied. I also offer a free daily email or text update to let you know how everyone is whilst you’re away.

My Services

Before you go

I’ll then arrange a suitable time with you for a home visit and key collection (meet and greet) so I can meet your pets and confirm arrangements for feeding. I do not charge for this initial consutation and would normally expect to spend up to  20 minutes with you to make sure that your pet and home security needs are comprehensivelly documented. If you need me to return a second time to collect keys, there will be a £10 surcharge.

For your security, my vehicle is a normal car and will not advertise your absence to passers by.

While Away

My pop-in service includes feeding your pet(s) with the food you provide for them and ensuring fresh water is available. Litter trays will be scooped on each visit and fully cleaned and replenished as necessary. I’ll also clean up any other little accidents that may have happened around the house. A stroke and a play comes at no extra cost, neither does a cuddle should your pet like one!

I’ll also help make your home look occupied whilst you’re away by removing post from the front door, opening and closing curtains and making sure your bins are collected and retrieved at no extra charge. If there is anything else you need such as watering plants or administering pet medications, please just let me know.

Coming Home

Your pet(s) will be delighted to see you when you return and hopefully you’ll have a smooth journey home. If you are concerned about unexpected delays, then I can arrange to return your key once you are safely back.
