About Me

I spent my youth on a farm, surrounded by animals in my upbringing, especially of the canine variety. I’ve been involved in volunteer work for the SSPCA (Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in Edinburgh, helping with abandoned and mistreated animals as well as boarding dogs. I’ve been a freelance photographer for the Caledonian Wolfalike Association (formally known as British Utonagan’s), as well as participating in dog shows, with regular handling of wolf-a likes breeds. I’ve also been involved within breeding programs and have familiarity with puppies and adolescent dogs, with extensive handling of larger breed types.

I took up dog walking as a business for my love of dogs, walking and the great outdoors. Compared to a lot of other dog walkers out there I specialise in intimacy and attention for my clients and their dogs. I never walks more than 3-4 dogs at any one time, not that I have anything against large group walks, but personally I know the time it takes to collect and return a dog, and the more dogs on a walk the longer time sitting in a vehicle can be. Walking packs of 6-8 dogs can be very common in Glasgow…No thanks!! I love to keep my walks intimate, small and extremely local to minimise this. It also allows me to keep close tabs on each dog and give any special attention that is needed without putting stress and or unnecessary frustration on your dogs, while also giving them the chance to create bonds and play with other dogs to keep socialised…no tangled leads is a bonus too!

Services

Buddy Walks

This is for well behaved socialised dogs that love to run in the park and make new friends, but at the same time receive individual treatment and attention that may be missed out in larger group/ pack walks. Buddy Walks will consist of 3-4 dogs, that will be picked and dropped of by van and driven to local parks with minimum driving time.

Individual Walks

Walks with specific attentions to your dogs needs. These walks will focus on the individual needs of your dog, whether they have anti-social tendencies or just prefer to walk at their own pace. The walks will include local parks and walking area’s familiar to your dog.

Pet Home Sitting

Pet sitting whether it is for a few hours, the whole evening or several days/ weeks. Due to current living situations I can only look after pets in the comfort of their homes if local. This is recommended especially if the animal(s) suffer from types of anxiety and need to be as comfortable as possible to provides a familiar stress free environment for your pet.
