Welcome to Paws Outdoors, a friendly and reliable dog walking and pet care service provider covering Newton le Willows and surrounding areas.

We aim to provide you and your pets with a high quality yet affordable service which can be tailored to meet your individual needs.  

We specialise in one -to -one dog walks enabling us to give your dog all of our attention and the ability to tailor walks to their particular needs.

Services

Dog Walking

Paws Outdoors are very flexible and whether you require daily or occasional walks we are happy to meet you needs. We provide dog walking on an individual or small group basis. Walking dogs together is a fun and social activity for your pet and provides mental stimulation and companionship. We can walk your dogs on or off the lead (with your permission) but will not let them off the lead until we are sure they have good recall. If your dog has a favourite walk we are happy to take them there or introduce them to new and stimulating environments.

Home Visits(Puppys, Cats, small animals, fish, reptiles)

Having Paws Outdoors look after your pets while you are away means your pet can stay in familiar surroundings and avoids having to ask friends, neighbours or family. We can feed and water, medicate, clean bowls, empty litter trays etc and provide a bit of fuss and attention. We can also make your home appear lived in by picking up mail, putting bins in/out, turning lights on/off and opening and closing curtains.

If you have a new puppy we can make home visits while you are at work to let them out in the garden, clean up any accidents and give some love and attention.

Pet Transportation

If you need someone to take your pet to/from the vets and wait with them while they are being treated, Paws Outdoors can help. We can also transport your pet to the grooming parlour or kennels.

At Paws Outdoors we believe in caring for your pets as we would care for our own pets and we can offer a personal, door-to-door service to match your requirements.

About Us

Leaving your dog for long periods of time can sometimes be unavoidable. Lack of stimulation can be a traumatic experience and employing a dog walker can alleviate stress and prevent behavioural problems.

If you work long hours, are unable to walk your dog due to accident or illness, are going on holiday or a short break or need someone to take your pet to the vets we can help. We can provide dog walking services, home visits and pet transportation.

We are fully insured to cover Public Liability, Care, Custody and Control and Loss of key cover. We are also DBS checked (formally CRB check) and are First Aid trained for dogs and cats (Certificates available to view on request).

We have had many pets of our own including dogs, rabbits, hamsters, fish and now Talula our three legged cat who adopted us in March 2017 and Gizmo adopted April 2019. Our aim is to care for your pets as if they were our own and give them the same love and attention they get from you.

On a personal note, I was a primary school teacher for 12 years and a forensic scientist for 9 years. Having a love of the great outdoors and all animals, I decided to start Paws Outdoors in 2013 so I could combine my two passions.
