Hi, I’m Morag

I’ve been running Paws for Thought Pet Services since 2008. Before that, I helped my friend pet sitting. I enjoyed it so much I started my own business! I have two dogs of my own, a Border Terrier and a Border Terrier/Shih Tsu mix.

I hold a Diploma in K9 behaviour and for your reassurance and peace of mind, I am police checked and I’m fully insured with the appropriate Pet Business Insurance. On request, I can also provide references.

I have also had great success with dogs who have had problems from fearfulness to separation anxiety and these dogs are now happily integrated within the group of dogs who come out with me and having fun! I really enjoy the work I do and love to see dogs exercised and having fun!

All dogs are safely transported wearing approved seatbelts.

Dog Walking

I can offer either one to one walks or group walks of no more than four dogs at a time. I like to meet owners and their dogs first, so an initial meeting is better to see if we like each other, then go out for some fun walks!

Walking is also available for Assistance Dogs.

Cat Visits

If you’re going on holiday and need your cat fed and water topped up and litter tray changed I can do this for you no problem. Plant watering, security checks, mail lifted etc can also be done if required.

Small Animals

I’ve had experience looking after hamsters, chinchillas, rabbits, and even rats. You don’t need to worry, they’ll be well looked after, so give me a call and I’ll sort it all.
