Welcome to Paws & Claws Pet Services Lichfield

I am a Lichfield based dog walking & pet services company. I have a genuine love and understanding of animals, with knowledge gained from owning and being around pets, for the last 50 years.

I have lived in Lichfield for some 30 years now and am familiar with many dog walking routes and local parks in the area.

I have previously been in the greeting card trade, from my own shop Sarah Banbury’s Cards & Gifts and more recently in my familys’ card shop A Write Card in Lichfield. Now it’s time for a change, to do something I have enjoyed for so many years, my dog walking & my love of animals.

From childhood, dogs & cats were always a part of my family and still are. Over the years I have kept, horses, Guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, chinchillas, lovebirds & a variety of fish. Also a goat, geese, ducks, hens and sheep, I’ve even helped lamb a few of our sheep!

Dog Services

I would like to meet and get to know your dog on the initial visit before I start to walk him/her, to allow us to get to know one another, both pet and owner.

Before I take him/her out I will take full details from you about his/her likes and dislikes and any medical problems, he/she may have, so I can ensure his/her well-being at all times.

I take dogs for either half hour or one hour walks, depending on what he/she is used to and only a maximum of two dogs at any time, using local parks, woodlands and lanes. I will always ensure your dog’s safety by keeping them on a lead at all times. If your dog requires vigorous exercise, I can also take him/her for a run, as I run on a regular basis myself.

I will towel dry your pet on arrival back home, if it’s a wet day or brush him/her to remove any mud.

If your dog does not need a walk and just requires some company whilst you are working or out for the day, I can go to your home, let him/her out in the garden, play and give some affection to break up his/her day.

If your dog is recovery from an illness, I can give him/her any medication he/she requires.

My visits will be tailor made to suit whatever you require for your pet.
