I’m Nathalie and am lucky enough to call pet sitting and dog walking my full-time job. I previously worked part-time at a farm: caring for the horses and occasionally worked with the sheep, pigs, rodents etc. Additionally, in May 2018, I spent some time in Spain volunteering at an animal sanctuary, caring for rescued farm animals, dogs, and cats. So my life revolves around caring for animals! My family and I have 2 ginger cats that we adopted from Battersea Dogs’ and Cats’ Home, as well as a black Labrador. We used to also have 3 gerbils. I love all animals so am happy to care for anyone.
I am currently completing a Level 5 Accredited Diploma in Canine Behaviour with Canine Principles. Additionally, I have attended a seminar in Dog Law and have completed a pet first aid qualification in person, which I update every 3 years. I have also already achieved distinctions in, the completion of, 3 short courses: ‘Veterinary Care Assistance’, ‘A Vet in the Making’ (pet health & care) and ‘Animal Physical Therapy’ – whilst these aren’t higher education level certificates, they are recognized by CPD and ICOES. They have provided me with a core basis of knowledge in animal care and behaviour covering cats, dogs, rodents, reptiles, birds, and fish so you will feel safe knowing your pet will be well looked after!
Below is a summary of certificates I’ve attained and seminars I’ve attended to keep my knowledge up to date:
From the Hound Up with ‘Gemma Hodgson, Animal Centred Education Advanced Tutor’ 2020
Canine First Aid: Paw and Pad Injuries with ‘Rachel Bean RVN’ 2020
Dog Law: A Course on the law as it pertains to dogs in England with ‘Trevor Cooper’ 2020

Imogen is Nathalie’s sister and joined Pawfect Care in July 2021. In this time she has built up wonderful relationships with her clients, including her most nervous dogs. She previously worked for a retail company, specialising in dog designs. She was much loved by the owner’s 2 dogs, becoming the second parent when the manager had to go out. Imogen completed her pet first aid course with ‘First Aid for Life’ in 2021.
