Paw-Fit Pet Services

Alex and Wayne are joint owners of Paw-Fit Pet Services.

Paw-Fit Pet Services evolved in 2014 due to a change in family circumstances and that stark realisation that doing something you love was significantly more appealing than what Alex had been  doing before!  Although she was in the fortunate position of being able to take her dog Saffron to work with her, she knew that if she changed jobs she would have to find other arrangements for her care, so what better than to be that care!

We sought a license from our local council and the journey begins …….

We now provide Home Boarding in several homes all of whom are based in the Old Town area of Swindon, Wiltshire.

As demands for dog walking grew Alex’s husband Wayne joined the business in April 2016.

Alex holds a BSc (Hons) in Social Work with a keen interest in Psychology, she has been fortunate to be able to transfer some of this knowledge to the care of animals.  Alex along with the families Labradors Saffron & Guinness run the home boarding, bookings and general day to day management. Alex is a qualified trainer with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Training), which we believe has complement our current services.

Wayne gave up the corporate world where he had worked in the print industry since 1981 and in April 2017 became a partner in the family business to help with Dog Walking.
