Dog Grooming

Be the first to review
Nicki gained her Level 3 City & Guilds Dog Grooming qualifications in 2014.
Here’s why & how she became a Dog Groomer…
Although never fully satisfied in her career choices Nicki eventually found herself in a job that allowed her the flexibility to get her own dog, which was something she’d always longed for.
After having her beloved Cockapoo, Rocco, for about 12 months and feeling frustrated with how he looked after each groom she decided to research how to do it herself, an idea which snowballed into training to become a Professional Dog Groomer.

Nicki knew that if she wanted to fully succeed in this industry and set herself above other groomers, she would need to be taught by the very best, so she went to train at the multi-award winning Dogs Delight in London which is one of the highest qualified dog grooming salon’s in the country. Whilst there, she learned how to groom many different breeds to a high standard ranging from pets to show dogs, passing all her qualifications with flying colours.

Training to become a Dog Groomer is not a simple task it requires a lot of time, effort and money and doesn’t end once you’ve passed your exams. Learning and enhancing your skill is on-going, that is why Nicki continues to attend workshops, seminars and grooming competitions outside her working hours.
