Prices for cat sitting

  • From £12 per visit (20 to 30 mins)
  • £2 per additional cat
  • £10 surcharge per visit on bank holidays

1 visit per customer on Christmas day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day.

Complimentary Services

One less thing to worry about. Some cat sitters will drop off your keys on the last day of your holiday. But what happens if your flight is delayed? We never drop your keys off until we know you are back home. If your flight is delayed we will continue to care for you pet, free of charge.

Welcome Home. Come home to fresh bread, fresh milk or something else. Leave us a shopping list and we will pick up your items before you return. We can even arrange flowers, chocolates and champagne if you have been away for a special occasion.

Security. We take your security very seriously. In addition to keeping your keys safe and security codes hidden, we can open/close curtains and turn lights on/off to deter burglars.

Pet Care. We are trained to administer all types of medication and all our pet sitters are first aid trained. 

Bins. Don’t miss your black bin collection just because you’re on holiday. We will put your bins out on the correct days if you want.

House Plants. Your pets aren’t the only thing that needs water. We will water your house plants if you are away for a few weeks. Just ask.

We Love Pets, Just Like You…

We began cat sitting after putting our cats into a cattery. They hated being confined inside cages and they came back stressed and unhappy.

Chatting to friends and family we realised this was a common experience so we started caring for their pets while they were out of town. Word soon got out about our friendly, reliable service and we started getting enquiries from further afield. Nice and Cuddly was born.

Allan and Darryl currently own 3 cats: a British Blue, a Ragdoll and a moggy. All 3 were rescued from Millstream Animal Shelter.

In 2020 we went to Australia to visit the Koala Hospital and adopt a Koala. Her name is Hockey Luna.

My name is Allan Grisdale and I run Nice and Cuddly with Darryl. I’m the friendly voice you’ll hear when you call our office.

I have been pet sitting since 2010 and loved every second of it. I couldn’t imagine my life not being surrounded by furry friends so, I can’t wait to meet you and your pet family.

I have owned cats, dogs, rabbits, gerbils and goldfish. 

My name is Darryl Brown and I am the co-owner of Nice and Cuddly. I live in Manchester and I am active member of the Monton Village Community Association (MVCA).

I am mad about cats and their welfare. I love working with small animals (even the naughty ones). I find pet sitting very rewarding. It’s my dream job.

I have owned cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, goldfish and tropical fish. 

My name is Beth. I am a teacher. I enjoy dancing and musical theatre.

I grew up with animals my whole life. I have a passion for pets of all sizes and species. I am excited to be able to help you by caring for your pets while you are away. Your babies will be cared for and loved just as if they were my own. 

I have a husband and kids and a beautiful cat of my own, Layla, and have previously owned a wonderful dog.
