WELCOME
New Paws on Tay is an established Dog Grooming business situated on the High Street of Newport on Tay only a few miles from Dundee. Our salon has been designed with your pets comfort and safety in mind. It is light, airy and spacious providing a relaxing environment where your dog can be groomed, pampered and leave with a happy waggy tail.
About Us
New Paws on Tay opened in 2016 with one of the most modern salons in Scotland.
We provide a relaxed, clean, stress free environment for our clients. Your dogs’ comfort and wellbeing is top priority whilst in our care. By taking a confident approach with patient and gentle handling we are able to build a trusting relationship with your pet making all visits a positive experience.
Our dedicated team have over 15 years experience in the dog grooming industry, our head groomer holds the Level 3 City and Guilds qualification in Professional Dog Grooming. Along with specialist training, knowledge and skills we can achieve the best groom for your dogs’ specific needs.
We are passionate about animals and the professional service we provide.
Consultation
Each pet is individually assessed on arrival at the Salon. This allows us to evaluate the condition of the dogs’ coat and discuss with you what type of style you would like.
Our Services
Full Groom

A double wash with professional grade shampoo, specific to your dogs coat type and a gentle Blueberry face wash to remove dirt from the eye area

Excess moisture and dead undercoat is removed from the coat using a high powered dryer which also stimulates the circulation

Your pet is then hand dried safely on a grooming table (We do not use cabinet dryers)

Nails are clipped and ears cleaned if required

The coat will then be trimmed/clipped to the style of your choice, if appropriate for the dogs coat type/condition and breed

A complimentary spritz of doggie cologne or aftershave and a bow
Mini Groom
