I’m lucky to have been around dogs all my life. Growing up our family had dogs and as soon as I set up my own home the first thing I did was get my own. This has continued throughout my life, I currently live with my two Dalmatians, Millie, Lulu and Alfie the Bedlington Terrier.
Since the age of 18 I have worked in the care industry as a healthcare support worker and although I found this very rewarding, my passion has always been to work with dogs. For the last 20 years I have worked with vulnerable groups of people for the NHS in a variety of care fields and I have always found that after a difficult day, walking with my dogs is a great stress buster.
Dogs have always been my passion, so it made perfect sense to start up my own business with My Best Friend. I’m finally able to dedicate my days to making sure we all have happy, tired and stress free pooches, which is a dream come true.
With our doggy day care service your best friend can be collected in the morning and entertained for the day. He is returned to you happy, relaxed and exercised ready for a quiet evening at home. If it’s more convenient, then you can drop off in the morning and collect in the afternoon.
Dogs should not be left for more than 4 hours (puppies 1 – 2 hours) as they can become stressed and destructive. My Best Friend doggy day care is a great way to ensure your dog remains happy and stress free.
