My dog walking service is great for those of you who are out at work during the day and need someone to take your dog out for a fun walk. I have 3 time slots available for your convenience and an air-conditioned van with secure cages for his comfort and safety.

Home boarding is so much nicer than traditional dog kennels and your dog becomes part of the family when he comes to stay. With a selection of dog carers I can cater or all shapes and sizes. 

If you would rather your dog stayed in his own home or you have a puppy that’s too young for full walks I also offer a pet sitting and puppy care service.

Why Choose My Best Friend?

My Best Friend Dog Care is owned and run by Jon and Clara Roff. Jon and Clara started My Best Friend  in early 2015 after deciding that they wanted a complete lifestyle change and to focus on doing something they both loved. Previously Jon held a number of senior business development and franchise management roles in the Corporate World and Clara had run a successful retail business.

Clara has since gone on to start My Best Friend Dog Grooming and now runs a very successful salon with a great reputation for quality and care.

Jon continues to run My Best Friend Dog Care (West Oxfordshire) and is also hard at work growing the business through franchise partnerships and opened the doors to the first of many in March 2017. With locations Nationwide My Best Friend are well placed to meet all of your dog care needs.

My Best Friend is based in Langford, West Oxfordshire on the edge of the Cotswolds with additional locations opening Nationwide. We offer doggy day care, home boarding, dog walking, pet sitting and puppy care services.

Our Service – Doggy Day Care

With our doggy day care service your best friend can be collected in the morning and entertained for the day. He is returned to you happy, relaxed and exercised ready for a quiet evening at home. If it’s more convenient, then you can drop off in the morning and collect in the afternoon.

Dogs should not be left for more than 4 hours (puppies 1 – 2 hours) as they can become stressed and destructive. My Best Friend doggy day care is a great way to ensure your dog remains happy and stress free.

Doggy day care is a great way to introduce puppies to a variety of playmates and help with their socialisation.

At My Best Friend we take a great deal of time care assessing each dog. Doggy day care is not for everyone. We have a limited number of spaces and take great care to ensure that they are sociable and relaxed. Above all dogs must not show any signs of aggression.

My Best Friend provides a safe, secure and fun dog walking service when you’re unable to. Work commitments, ill health or just that well-deserved away-day with family or friends. We understand the challenges of modern life and are always there to help.

My Best Friend offers a tailored service to suit your best friend’s needs. Whether they’re big or small, young or in their golden years, boisterous or reserved. Rest assured that we’ll give them our best.

We specialise in off-lead group dog walking so your best friend gets the most out of their time with us. They will be collected and taken to their walk in a caged doggy van with up to 5 friends and walked for a minimum of 50 minutes.

My Best Friend provides safe, secure and fun home boarding through a network of carefully selected carers and franchisees.

As an alternative to dog boarding kennels, your best friend really does become part of the family when in the care of My Best Friend.

When you want to take that well-deserved holiday, weekend away or just spend some dog-less time with family and friends, then My Best Friend will give your best friend a home-from-home experience.

Our home dog boarding service enables you to do whatever you want whenever you want to do it. We promise that your best friend will never be left in a kennel!

My Best Friend are very careful when it comes to choosing carers, they all undergo an indepth interview at their home to make sure they’re suitable.

Above all else our carers are certified dog lovers!

PET SITTING AND PUPPY CARE

Our Service – Pet Sitting and Puppy Care

We all worry about leaving our best friends home alone but sometimes real life just makes it inevitable. If you have dog that is not able to join us for longer walks then our pet sitting and puppy care service is perfect for you. We can come to your home and provide them some well deserved company with a 30-minute visit to check food, water and their general well-being and a short walk to stretch their legs.  This service is ideal for the older dog who is happy to snooze all day or even a puppy who is not yet ready for full walks. My Best Friend can help whatever their age.

We can also cater for a wide range of small domestic animals if you need us, just get in touch to find out how we can help with our pet sitting and puppy care services.
