Mutts on the Move is a dog walking and pet care service for Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and surrounding Gloucestershire areas.
Tracy is registered with National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog walkers (NARPS), is fully insured and has the relevant security checks.
Tracy studied Small Animal Care at Hartpury College, but most of her experience lies with dogs and rabbits, having had them all her life. With two rescue dogs and two rescue rabbits of her own, Tracy understands the importance that careful handling, patience and respect is for the welfare of your pet, and continues in her learning of animal behaviour. Tracy feels that her professional development is important and has an avid interest in dog behaviour and positive training methods. Tracy will endeavour to keep her training up to date and has recently completed a dog behaviour course.
Your pet’s welfare is Tracy’s main priority and it’s vital that they are happy and safe. Each dog/pet will have their own individual care plan to ensure that all your pets’ needs are met.
Dog walks will last for an hour, which does not include travel time. They will have an hour from the minute their paws touch the ground and will take place in either the morning, lunchtime or afternoon.
Dogs can be walked off the lead if this has been agreed, and will be walked in a group of no more than 4, to ensure that they get the maximum enjoyment from their walk.
Your dog is most likely to come home a little mucky after having lots of fun, so will be towel dried on return. Tracy will ensure that your dog is left at home according to instructions and is safe and secure with fresh water available.
Individual walks can be arranged if your dog struggles with other dogs and will last for half an hour.
Your dog will be welcomed into Tracy’s home and will be treated as one of the family whilst you are away overnight or on holiday.
Whilst you are away, Tracy will give you regular updates of how your dog is enjoying his/her holiday and you will be free to keep in contact with your furry friend.
All pets need caring for when you go on holiday. Tracy offers one or two visits a day for cats and caged animals to ensure that your smaller pet is cared for as if you were there.
Depending on your pets requirements, Tracy is able to let your pet out in the garden, feed them, ensure they have fresh water and clean out cages and hutches if needed.
Tracy will also water plants and draw/open curtains if required.
It does not matter how many animals you have as you will be charged for the house visit, not the amount of pets.
