Since I was a child I always had a love of dogs and would regularly walk my neighbours’. Becoming an adult meant I could finally give a home to my own and have had dogs ever since. I currently live with my 7yr old Cocker Spaniel Peppa who is my world!
I worked for many years in emergency care but dreamt of moving from human to canine care so I became a fosterer for a Spaniel Charity. Fast forward to 2022 and I am proud to be the founder of Muddy Puddles.
As a dog owner myself I truly understand how nerve-racking it can be leaving your dog in someone else’s care. My promise to you is to care for your dog like my own.
When it comes to dog walking, the safety and wellbeing of every dog in my care is paramount. For this reason, I limit my pack walks to a maximum of 4 dogs per walk.
I am trained in Canine First Aid and CPR and have completed a course in Canine Behaviour and Psychology. I am also DBS checked for your own peace of mind.
I am fully insured, covering public liability and loss of keys.Â
I am a firm believer in rewarding good behaviour and positive reinforcement. I use treats that are natural and grain free, catering for the most sensitive stomachs.
I walk with a maximum balanced pack of 4, three times per day. I vary my walks in the countryside, either in safe bounded fields or in the woods thus ensuring your dog is stimulated and exercised and his/her individual needs are met.
I will collect your dog and walk him/her for an hour in a maximum pack of 4 before returning home. There will be plenty of stimulation and social interaction! Rest assured, if necessary, paws will be cleaned and your home secured prior to my departure.
I can also cater for dogs who for whatever reason cannot be walked in a pack. One-to one walks will be tailored to your dog’s individual need.
I carry a first aid kit, fresh drinking water, a portable dog wash and plenty of clean towels. I use my own leads, treats, balls, and use 100% compostable biodegradable waste bags.
