More and more dog owners in the UK are using doggy day care to enrich their dog’s lives, and to prevent problems that can arise from leaving their dog at home alone for long periods.
Our exclusive Doggy Day Care service provides a nurturing, safe, clean and caring environment for your dog whilst you are at work.
Within our purpose-designed environment, your dog will have fun, exercise, rest and play with other friendly and sociable dogs, under the care of experienced and knowledgeable professionals. With a background working for Guide Dogs and even a Masters Degree in Animal Behaviour, we’re sure you’ll agree that our experience and knowledge allows us to provide the best for your dog.
Our 4500sq ft fully heated indoor Centre has large exercise arenas filled with an array of enrichment activities including toys, play tents, ball pits, tunnels and lots more.
Our unrivalled, fully insured, licensed and CCTV monitored Centre also has two amazing outdoor secure play areas totalling a huge 4000sq ft, featuring paddling pools, sand pits, play houses, tunnels, climbing frames and lots more to play on and around!
Throughout the day, dogs have access to our relaxation lounge, providing individual warm rest areas where your dog is given a comfy bed and food enrichment, including Kongs, bones and puzzle feeders. We even have sofas and a dog television!
Whilst with us, all dogs are welcomed into carefully chosen social groups of similar size, play styles and energy levels and are fully supervised at all times.
Our small, fun and friendly practical puppy classes are great for socialising puppies and teaching them the skills they need for everyday life. What’s more, investing in your dog’s education is also the best way to avoid future problems.
Our kind, positive and reward-based methods will help you and your puppy develop the knowledge and foundations for a happy future together, in a supportive environment. We cover aspects such as:-
All owners will begin the 6 week course at the same time as each other and will be actively involved with their puppy throughout the classes.
In addition to weekly support emails, we can also direct owners to some excellent dog resources, including our recommended books and websites.
N.B. A class environment is only suitable for pups who are friendly and relaxed with other pups and people. All pups must be fully vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms prior to starting any of our courses.
Puppy Training Course (for sociable pups aged 12 weeks to 6 months) £125 for 6x 1 hour group sessions
This service is suitable for any age of dog as it concentrates on developing their skills in aspects such as coming when called, sit, down, stay, walking on a loose lead, etc.
When dealing with dogs in any capacity it is important to consider things from the dog’s perspective, which is why we are huge advocates of positive, reward-based training. Whilst improving your dog’s response to your requests, we will provide you with a multitude of valuable handouts and resource material and teach you how to become an improved dog handler.
This training service can be as adaptable as you wish, for example, if you are considering getting a puppy or rescue dog, we can advise you on all aspects of dog ownership prior to your dog’s arrival – this way, your dog stands the best possible chance of integrating into your household. Advice can be given on equipment, toys, home set-up, feeding, clicker training, etc.
All training sessions take place from our Centre in Lytham and cost £100 per hour
