Lady Mischiefs

Whilst we were looking for pet boarding for our own mischief, we realised that specialist rat care was grossly overlooked.

Many places offered boarding but with several different species of furies also being catered for so not rat specific care.

Not wanting to risk taking them somewhere that also boarded other small animals that used sawdust, we ended up having to dismantle our own cage, drag it to another location and ask a family member to look after our girls. But we knew they still wouldn’t receive the required cared from a non-rat owner. Of course they would get fed and watered but it bothered me that they wouldn’t get what they needed. I hated that they would be left in a room with food just put in. Their basic needs were being met but with their short life spans, it bothered me that a few days to them is a long time to just ‘make do’.

So the idea for ‘Lady Mischief’ was born. At Lady Mischief we provide your rats accommodation (We use Royal Savic cages) so you do not have to bother with the hassle of dismantling your cage.

The rats who are guests at Lady Mischiefs are boarded in an area which also provides them with free roaming space in their group. None of our household animals have access into the rat hotel.  

We are fully insured and we will provide you with regular updates so your mind is put to rest and you can relax whilst you are away, knowing that your rats are in good hands by a fellow rat owner.
