Be the first to review
Kay was born in 1964 and always had two loves in her life – dogs and singing. She lives in Mytchehtt, Surrey having went to school and grew up in Aldershot, Hampshire.

Kay has learned her skills from a number of internationally prominent trainers and lecturers, such as – Dr. Susan Friedman, Ken Ramirez, Grisha Stewart, Chirag Patel, Michelle Pouliot, Emily Larlarm, Kay Laurence, Kathy Sdao, Emma Parsons etc and many more!

Many well known dog trainers also choose Kay’s dog training school when it comes to training with their own dogs, as well as some prominent celebrities and she has mentored many local dog professionals over the years. You can’t get better validation than that!

With a particular interest in Cognitive learning – and a book out sometime in 2023 – Kay specializes in dog aggression, behaviour problems, rescue dog rehabilitation, and uses force free, fun training to resolve the issues that some dogs have, whether they are mild or severe problems.
Kay loves working with dogs and studying their behaviour. She tries to attend as many seminars, workshops and conferences up and down the country, so that she can offer you and your dog the best possible service, attending many from the world’s leading trainers. On an average week, Kay trains with approximately 300 dogs – All breeds, all sizes, all ages!

She has 4 dogs of her own, Gibson, a Jack Russell cross Basenji, Flynn a Jack Russell cross Collie, Teddy a Chihuahua (failed foster) and Lottie Chihuahua (failed Foster). They all have lots of character and very different personalities – that’s what she adores about them!

Kay also offers Mentorship programs for those wishing to improve their canine knowledge or perhaps become a dog trainer themselves, Many local businesses in the local area started on a mentorship program with Kay9 Services and now have their own successful businesses!

Kay is very happy to give complimentary talks and demonstrations at schools and youth clubs.

House Sitting

We move in to your home for the duration of the booking, to ensure that your dog/s, cat/s and other pet/s receive the care and attention they need. Obviously a presence in your home during your absence is a deterrent for crime and we will also take care of other household requirements such as refuse collections, post etc

Your pets can be assured of the best care in their own home, which for some animals can be less stressful when they stay in their own environment. Contact us for rates and availability. This is a popular service with no limits to duration of service. A travel cost may be levied to your booking if you are out of our usual service area. Please note that we do not bring our own pets to your home during the sitting period.

Dog Walking Services

After an initial discussion about your dog, it will then be assessed for social skills etc. Then it will be walked on a short lead for integration with other dogs that it will be walked with. Only then will the dog be put onto a long line (up to 10 metres), so that it may move freely within the group, but still remain secure. Your dogs health and happiness is our priority!

Our vehicles are also air conditioned and crated for your dogs safety and well being.

Cat & Chicken Visit and Feeding Service

We offer bespoke services for chicken and cat sitting to suit your individual requirements.

We can look after your cat/s in your own home, visiting several times a day to feed, sit with, kiss and cuddle if necessary and make sure that whilst you are away, your pets are safe, happy and content!

We are also able to look after your chickens whilst you are away. We have extensive knowledge after having our own chickens for many years.

“We have had Laurie look after our two cats when we are away, for the last four years, & I don’t know what we would do without him!

He is wonderful with them, & always keeps us updated on how they are with frequent messages & photos, so we know that they are in very safe hands.

We always come home to find two happy & well cared for cats”!
