Dog Walking

At Katie & Co, safety is our number one priority, but is closely followed by fun! We strive to create an enrichment filled adventure for your pup, walking in rural countryside areas or woodland with lots of sniffing! It’s important that your dog is physically fit, confident and well socialised around other dogs, and has suitable recall to be able to walk off-lead. Group walks are available Monday to Friday and are split into two groups; the first walk is roughly 11am-12pm and the second is 1pm-2pm. Your dog may be out of the house for a couple of hours to account for a full hour walk as well as travel time. Dogs must be booked in for a minimum of two walks per week. Sadly we are unable to offer ad-hoc bookings.

  • Weekdays: £13 for one dog, £24 for 2 dogs from the same household

  • Weekends & Bank Holidays: £25 (adhoc bookings for existing clients only)

 Pet Visits

Our pet visits are perfect for stress-free pet care for cats and small furries whilst you’re away! Visits include feeding, water change, litter change, keeping pet areas clean and tidy, and of course… plenty of fuss! We also offer a ‘pop in’ service for reptiles and fish.

  • £9 per visit (cats, rabbits)

  • £6 per pop in (fish feeding, reptile checks)

House Sitting

If you’re heading away for the weekend and want an alternative to boarding and kennels, why not get a house sitter? House Sitting is where I stay at your home with your pets so you can have peace of mind they’re enjoying all the usual home comforts. House Sitting is currently only available weekends from Friday 5pm to Monday 9am.

About Us

Hi! I’m Katie, and I’m the owner of Katie & Co Pet Services! Yes, before you ask, I am one of those crazy dog ladies… despite being allergic to most furry mammals and the outdoors, I decided the best career for me was being a dog walker! I set up Katie & Co in Summer 2018 and since then I’ve been dedicated to growing my business and educating myself on all things dog related. I’m fascinated by canine body language and how our dogs communicate with us, which is why I’m always on the lookout for educational courses to improve my skills. I’m also a big advocate of force-free dog handling why is why I only use positive reinforcement when handling dogs. This means reward-based methods as opposed to punishment (i.e. lots of treats!). I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and canine first aid qualified. Please see below a list of courses I have attended and any certificates or qualifications I have earned. Although there are no formal qualifications needed to be a dog walker, I do feel it is important to keep up to date with my understanding of training & behaviour to help me be the best dog walker I can be for your dog!
